I was planning to make this thread since Christmas but something got in the middle all the time. This is a work in progress, i will update it in the coming weeks with more info, photos and links. I posted it as you can send me your suggestions etc, so feel free to contact me!
At year 2006 By-Tor compiled this amazing thread By-Tor's Guide to best OMEGA replicas (guide for newbies)
I wasn't even a member at that time but i remember reading this thread over and over again trying to learn as much as i could about omegas.
Many years have passed and quite a few models and updates on them are released, and some of them have become discontinued…
This is my try to make an updated database with all the latest models and info about them, at least for the ones there are info about.
When omega announced the new series of planet ocean with the ceramic bezels and open case backs, with in house 8500 caliber, all the fans start praying for a rep of this as soon as possible.
There are two releases for this model one from BP factory and one from Noob factory.
BP factory was the first factory which released this model. The rep was over all a decent one, with major “flaws” the movement, which isn't even close to the real thing , the AR on the 45.5mm which isn't the best and the fading bezels after a period of usage.
Few months later the Noob factory released their model. Better than the BP release but still the open case back is a big tell on this.
another release was made for this model from the Aqua Terra maker, using a miyota 8215 movement. In my opinion the worst release of the three...
Rep Models Available:
42mm Black Bezel/White numbers dial
42mm Black Bezel/Orange numbers dial
42mm Orange Bezel/Orange numbers dial
45.5mm Black Bezel/White numbers dial
45.5mm Black Bezel/Orange numbers dial
45.5mm Orange Bezel/Orange numbers dial
Please note, that as per gen, the orange bezel are made of aluminum. Only the back bezels are ceramic!
All models come with bracelet, which by the way is of amazing quality, or the new rubber straps that were made available when noob factory released their model. Great feedback on them also, veyr gen like feeling.

Along with CrPO, BP released the Titanium Planet Ocean. An eye catcher model for sure. Comparin to the work BP made with the CrPO, i think the Titanium Planet Ocean is a way better release. Again the open case back is a big tell but at lease the inscription Liquid Metal Technologies is there on the case back. We saw the same inscription on the 45.5mm BP model which is wrong. If you are looking for a fancy daily beater you may want this one, you will barery notice you are wearing a watch due to titanium being very light.
Rep Models Available:
42mm Blue Bezel/Blue Dial
45.5mm Blue Bezel/Blue Dial
These ones come out with bracelet and blue rubber strap. You can choose between those two, but in my opinion the rubber strap combo is awesome!

The legendary model returns with a modern design. New glossy dial, ceramic bezel, a very nice bracelet and at last correct crown guards and HE valve position for the SMP! Over all a very good rep, a little pricey but not many flaws. Most noticeable are the bezel color being a little off (numbers of the bezel are also off) and if i had to nit pick i would mention the lume markers.
Rep Models Available:
Blue Bezel/Blue Dial
Black Bezel/Black Dial
Both of them come with stainless stell bracelet, same quaility as the CrPO bracelet!

Omega Seamaster 300m Ceramic Black - A review
What to say about this much anticipated model? For sure a pleasant surprise. A quality rep even thought it come with a miyota movement. The decoration of the movement is a big step towards the perfection. The great shiny bezel, with the nice dial and the quality bracelet makes it a great choice. If/when a few details get corrected on the dial (pattern and lume) and an eta clone is used this would become a super rep. I loved it and many of you too.

A much anticipated rep! I though we would see many of them around but we didn't. The thing is that its a not a bad rep at all. The bigger flaw is the red color on the 50 marker of the bezel. Not close, not good. Dial pattern with all the 007 isn't the best possible. They replicated the special case back with the bullet really good. Over all a fancy rep, i hope we will see a nice review.

Review of the month: October 2014 | James Bond 007 50th Anniversary from Truetime168
Another Limited Edition watch from Omega. Was released with the homonym movie. What makes it special is the very nice dial with the rectangles pattern and the 007 logo in the 7 o clock position. Watch comes with the 8507 caliber which is trouble again for the factories to replicate as its an open caseback model.
At first there was released an a21j model which was really bad. Next step was a model with 2836 movement which was a lot better but still needs work as the dial and especially the movement aren't spot on. Unfortunately not such a popular model so i couldnt find a decent review of it, just a few pictorials to give you an idea what you can expect of this one.

Omega fan or not, this has become a classic model, both automatic and quartz version. Many people have gone gen over this for two reasons.
1. You can find a decent used one at a good price
2. The latest reps aren't that good.
Unfortunately the later has drove away the fans from buying the rep. Two major and very noticeable flaws.
a. HE valve position is low.
b. Crown guards are way off.
If you want a decent rep there is only one way getting one. That's the famous closed factory smp. Why closed factory? Well because it has closed. Model has been discontinued, so if you want one you must be very patient and quick when a used one comes up for sale.

A very unique watch by Omega. The demand was big and it got repped. There are 3 versions of this rep V1,V1.5 and V2.
V1 had a major problem with crystal delaminating, dial had a happy feet logo, bezel button was non functional, case back was 1 piece and the clasp was slipping.
V2 was released to fix these problems but the lume is applied to the base of the bezel, not the back of the bezel insert like the V1, so the numbers look less white than they should.
Somewhere in the middle was released the V1.5, which fixed most of the V1 problems and was cheaper than V2. It used a21j movement though.

Unfortunately till today we haven't see a good rep. The main reason is the movement. The factories cant copy the lemania 861/1861 the gen carries, therefore they use the Seagull ST-19 (hand wind). That results in a bigger subdial spacing and since the rep has an open case back, well you can be called out in a second. The ST-19 although is a very robust movement thus the rep despite the flaws, worths buying.
An earlier version of this rep had a movement with omega engaving on the bridge, not that it makes it closer to the gen but its nicer . That version is discontinued.
There is a quarzt version of the moonwatch, that visually is closer to the gen with good subdial spacing and closed case back but the tick tick can give you away easy. Also a few cheapos with a21j movements are in the moonwatch game...
