Just received an email today with a photo of the watch and a tracking label.
Big thank you to the admins, the community here and trailboss who I believe is handling my HDT.
It seemed he only started responding after pressure was put on him.

Special mention to @Gaz1a who continuously defended the poor actions of oascom (I’m expecting gaz to respond with another essay on why everyone is piling up against oascom after this tag :ROFLMAO:

Wow...after reading all 30 pages, that's 45 minutes I'll never get back. But...

I've done business with Pat in the past, albeit many many years ago. If my Swiss cheese memory serves me, there were questions about costs and materials back then, too. Even then, those were just a mere drops in the bucket compared to the thousands being commanded today. I personally never had an issue with him as his builds were good. But just like then, folks have short memories and attention spans when it comes to history.

@Oascom , cry me a fucking river. While your fan club members will continue to tongue your anal aperture, your corporate customer service buzzwords will not bullshit me. In 3 weeks I will be in my mid-50s...I, sir, have fucking health issues. So don't come on here and say health issues unless you, as the kids say these days, bring the receipts. I never ever use this card but I am today.

As an esteemed and respected member of this board on day 3 of its almost 19 year existence (damn what my member date says!), I publicly and officially demand that you provide proof of your health issue(s) or be banned. Unlike your fan club here and elsewhere, many here actually know me in real life. They know what I've been dealing with and going through these last few months and years. I have the fucking receipts, do you?

I had several watches for sale at one time and one day I was having a bad day. I failed to send a watch on the day I said I would, and I refunded the member twice the shipping fee...took me 20 minutes. You got problems? You wouldn't last 20 minutes with what I deal with sometimes...bitch please.

And for the rest of you in the fan club, if you think for one second that's quality work, you're the biggest bunch of cucks I've ever seen in one place, and you'll truly buy anything. $1500 for one meteorite dial??? I can get several for that price, and it'll be a damn sight better than that piece of shit he's ordering, because I'll bet you he's not making them. (Oops, did I say that out loud?) Hell, for an extra hundred bucks, I can get the hooker to tell you she loves you. You're welcome.

As always, I hope those who are out money and product are made whole. But I'm telling you now, he's not sorry...he's only sorry he got caught. In the meantime, keep giving him hell lads.

I'll shut up now....carry on ladies and gentlemen.

Last one I had done required detailed laser cutting for a custom build I was doing (we're talking small text engraved,) and it was done in 4 weeks. $80.

Oh, and the artisan (he'll remain nameless as I don't know how he'd feel being named here) lives in Kiev and even apologized to me at one point because a powerplant was shelled, so he didn't have internet for a week (which I told him there was no need for an apology.)

He has his own section here, @Belkin12 hi Dmitry! Nice work

I received the watch, it was mailed out a few days after I engaged the RWI help desk and copied them into my emails with Pat. The work he did was amazing, but unfortunately had a minor issue (sub dial hands came off) and am trying to find someone that can help repair. Otherwise, happy with the watch and the communication once RWI help desk got involved.

Thanks for the update! Finding someone to do the repair is probably smart as it might take him quite a bit of time!

Minor issue is subdial hands coming off??
Seems like a big issues, renders the watch essentially useless.

I'm so grateful to the Mods and Powers That Be on here that have done (and are doing) such a great job of sorting this out for our fellows who have been ripped off by the POS.
One thing strikes - @Oascom - isn't setting things straight by his own free will, his own admission-to-self that he has absolutely gone wrong.
He's setting things straight because the guys here have set him straight on the consequences of not doing so.
I have zero problem with that.
That's why this Forum is what it is. A place where trust is rewarded and reputation needs to be maintained.

Well done RWI.

Sure - I will note: Oascom has offered to provide a refund for the cost of repair, and also happy to do it himself as well. I think it is OK and will get sorted over time.
Begs the question of anything was really tested.
Reset functions should be tested. Assuming this is a Daytona…I hope so for $6k…

Hands don’t just become loose immediately after install. It’s either loose from the beginning or after long usage.

I would highly recommend just look for any form watchsmiths in your part of the world and see who can help. It shouldn't be a huge issue to fix, although not everyone will touch a 4130 movement because they are complex. It's possible he may have damaged the hands, so just prepare yourself for worst case scenario which is having to pick up replacement handset. You could also check with local watchsmiths in your area as well.

Just received the watch. Big thanks to the great community and admins we have here.
Thank you for keeping track of this stuff @Caboose. I hope oascom doesn’t owe more people
