My guess is the money is spent on all the pretty toys in his Instagram photos. I would be happy him shipping the parts out as promised two months ago as I don't think a refund is even a remote possibility.

I would like to share that the advice given to me regarding raising a ticket and involving the staff was very helpful. I found responsiveness really improved after that.

...or he's just saying that, takes your money and then has two years before he even has to think about you - if he ever does again.
Taking Occam's razor to the whole sorry state of affairs - I think that the more likely explanation than a genuine two year waiting list.
Imaging running your business so poorly, you have to take more deposits from others to pay back the current orders.
Imagine sending your watch to this guy AFTER reading all of this...

Hello guys,
I have also ordered a build to OASCOM but I still don't get it after many many months. I sent him a total of 5070 USD :
- 25 december 2023 = 2000 USD (Meteorite dial for daytona oysterflex)
- 13 january 2024 = 920 USD (Clean Factory daytona oysterflex)
- 14 march 2024 = 1630 USD (gen hands, gen crystal + gasket + shipping to him + WG plating)
- 28 July 2024 = 520 USD (movement service, dial and crystal installation)
I ordered first the meteorite dial in december 2023, it was supposed to take 1-2 months.
I decided then to make a whole build with him with this meteorite dial so he ordered for me a CF daytona oysterflex in January 2024 and then the gen parts and the plating in March 2024 (I took time to let him order the watch and gen parts because in any case the meteorite dial was not ready yet).
He confirmed me that he received the gen parts, he also received my CF daytona (he showed me a video of it).
21 May 2024 he confirmed me that he finally received meteorite slices.
On 6 July 2024, he sent me a message to tell me he will work on my watch this week.
17 July 2024 he told me he will finish printing meteorite dials today and one of them is mine
24 July 2024 he gave me the detail of the last things I still have to pay : Dial and crystal installation + in option, service of the movement. I accepted the service of the movement option
6 august 2024 he told me he will work on my watch this week.
9 september he told me he has to finish a skeleton project and after that he will finish my build.
After that I never had any other answer.
@Caboose could you add my case in the summary table please ?
@Oascom could you please finish my build as soon as possible please ? we were in contact on instagram for this project (@djthyse).

It's just as crazy that there are people who seem to pay ANY price for something they really want (without doing any research beforehand).
I'm sorry you got caught up in Oascom web of deceit and you need to open a HDT if you haven't already.
Deduct the 1.6k for gen parts, at $3.4k he could build 2 extremely nice meteorite daytonas with the full package (no gen parts but full wrapped + service + NNF dial + WG plated hands) from non TD modder with a 2 month turnaround time....
2k for the dial alone is wild, that's the price for a full fledged Daytona build of your choice, anything you want, including the nice diamond bezel builds
I also find that the prices are very high but before started the project with him, I've read many reviews saying that OASCOM is the best, that his meteorite dials are the best and as he is part of the trusted modders, I thought the price was worth it
(for example, for the price for the CF daytona, I know I can get one cheaper if I bought it directly myself from a TD but after that I would have to ship it to him, so extra cost, extra time so I prefered to pay a bit more so this way he received directly the watch).
Even though I paid too much for what it was really worth, I accepted his offer, so that's not the problem. The BIG problem is that despite the very high price I paid, I still don't have my watch and I don't know if I'll ever get it as he is not answering me anymore to give me an update about my project.
