Is there something else going on that the rest of us are missing or are not privy to? Is the horse finally dead?

i haven’t been here for awhile, but I am surprised he went down the spiral. I had him do quite a bit of work for me long ago and was always happy with the results. Mind you, I didn’t get know or get any dials he has been offering, so I could only speak from repairs or modifications work.

The horse is probably not dead and I think it is fair to say that there's not something else going on on RWI's side.

I think you can understand how nerve-wrecking this process is to the staff and with the current SOVED-24 disease (term coined by @tripdog SOVED-24 - Sudden Onset Varying Excuses Disorder) that has infected a lot of our watchmakers, the team is currently dealing with other board watchmakers that have gone the same way as Oascom.

I think you will find it fair that we enacted a cut-off date as to where and when we would give assistance to this. If we were to assist everyone, my whole team would be tied up with Oascom cases alone and would not be able to give attention to other matters requiring assistance.

I believe OASCOM remains "trusted" in other venues. Those venues can start getting involved in assisting.

But, RWI is done with the matter.

@mclarendude , totally understood and I appreciate that.

I was just asking because too many times I see everyone get all worked up, throw someone in The Brig, get the torches and pitchforks, threaten to get Compuserve or SEAL Team 6 involved, and we - those on this side of the screen - don't see anything else happen other than, well, nothing.

Anyway, I'm just a humble member who wants to see justice prevail. Nothing more.

RWI is limited in anything that we can do other than the public pressure of a brig thread. There are several who claim to have attorneys involved and willing to go the route of litigation. It is up to those with damages to take steps to be made whole. RWI does not do anything more than we have here.. never have, never will.

"Compuserve" is just a member like anyone else. Some put out the bat signal for him but he chooses who he helps and doesn't, we have no control.

Nope, I get it. I've been admonished once or twice about cooling my jets and staying in my lane...and that's where I will remain.

I'm nobody special, I just want anyone wronged to get justice. And if I can help be the instrument of karma, even better.

Unfortunately I must now add myself. Not sure what can be done but it’s been two months for a dial replacement. I’ve tried every way possible and now can’t even get him to just return my property.

@asmodius420 as you can see the post from daytona4me above that RWI's staff will not doing anything going forward. You will have to find away to solve the problem.

Just to follow up on this. Oascom has not shipped a replacement and has stopped communication again.
