Yes, the AliX cases have a press fit tube, but I just get a screw in tube, epoxy (or similar) it into the case, and all is well. I've done at least 10 watches like this. No tapping needed. Takes 5 minutes of effort, 24 hours of fully curing, and done.
However, I will say the Raffles cases are a lot less effort, just more expensive.
Did you have to do anything special to get the pressed in tube out?
