Do you get the crystals from cousins? I was thinking of making similar modification as your 14060 v2 AliX case sometime in the future.
My build would go from approx 113€ to 152€ with a cousins insert and crystal.

I lost momentum and motivation to keep building the AliX/raffles-watch when rafflesdial sent the wrong order to me. He was nice enough to resend the order but it just added 19 more days waiting time 
Package will arrive next week so yesterday I pulled the crown tube out and popped the crystal.

The tube wouldn’t come off with the nose pliers so I had to improvise and push it from the inside.

Finished my AliX/Raffles build, couldnt get a good fit with the raffles bracelet end links so it ended up on a NATO strap. Tips for end links appreciated.

*Drilled lugs to 1.3mm (no workstation, I held the case and drilled with a hand drill, lol)

AliX case? Looks perfect!The case, bezel, insert and crystal are all gen dimensions for 14060
Thickness is +1.1mm more than gen

It’s an AliX case indeed but with 10+ h of work, reshaped bezel, clever crystal positioning etc

Sure, here are some more. The crown right now is the one that came with the case, btw. I’ll put the generic Rolex crown from AliX as soon as I get some time to work more on the watch.
