The DW of the WSO still fits into VS3135.
Looks great. I think the movement I have it on is a bit buggered. I’m going to get a new movement for my build.
Does the Sillan case take a whole gen bezel assembly, including retainer ring? Apologies if I’ve missed that fact somewhere. I’ve read through this whole thread and tried to search other but haven’t seen the answer.

It didn’t take a WSO 16610 bezel very well, and it didn’t take a 14060 bezel at all.
I didn’t try a different insert. I’m hoping it will take a gen insert just fine for my 16800 build
On the AliX case I used for my build above, i shaved the inside of the bezel for it to take a gen dimension insert. I used epoxy and fishline to secure a gen dimension crystal.
The case was also reshaped to the 39-39.4mm size and it’s only 1.5mm thicker than the gen

Shaving the inside of the bezel is a pain, haven’t found an easy technique to do this yet..
The best way is to use a lathe.
But i don’t have one..so
My technique is easy enough, but labor intensive
I use a cylindrical diamond file of 1.2mm and gradually grind the inside until the insert snap fits. Then I use just a tiny bit of hypocement or double tape to secure it fully

The case, bezel, insert and crystal are all gen dimensions for 14060
Thickness is +1.1mm more than gen

I remove the feet and use small slivers of the clear command strips to stick it to the movement.
