Either way it's still better than buying an original one. If you're rich and don't care about money, by all means go for genuine. But I don't see a reason why I, not rich not poor, should spend 10.000 euros, after waiting 2+ years on a list and probably get treated like a peasant by the Rolex dealer to end up owning a genuine watch, when 99% of people don't care or know enough about Rolex and probably assume that it's fake (like all luxury items, LV bags are a good example) from the get go.

The flaw hurts me more because once you know it's there, it's hard to ignore, but I realise that even genuine watches have flaws and not even people sitting next to me will be able to see that flaw or even know that it is a flaw.
My personal opinion as a noob.
I still dont see any flaws which people are talking about like case shape or fonts.

I see only one big flaw on clones - foggy crystal under some angle. Even if I have no idea how particular model looks like - its just not possible that crystal is so foggy.

So probably the only point I will care most is crystal.
For tge rest you must know exactly details and see flaws

Yeah the rep game is going for a factory that has flaws that you can live with. Every factory has some flaws, vfs has wonky dial text most of the time but has the best clone rolex movement and the best crystal on the market (as far as I know) so no foggy/milky crystal here. Clean factory usually has the better dial but a worse movement (visually compared to Gen movement) and worse crystal.

That looks very nice, just waiting on Tracking info on my incoming VSF 124060 hope it looks as good as that!
Ty! Even tho it’s mostly just black and steel I still love how it changing in the light and it’s just a beautiful watch. I’m also thinking of ordering a 12. I prefer the look of the 12 case but I might think the bracelet is too wide, that’s why I went with the 11 in the first place. Might order a 12 as well and sell the one that I like the least.
Post pictures of yours when you get it!

This is common in VSF's, but who else would stare at the rehault of your watch:LOL:
People/friends that you meet and want to hold/try/look at your watch? Is this mostly common in the 11 series? I don’t really see it at the 12 series.

Hello guys, I'm trying to figure out what are the main flaws of VSF Sub No date (black) and why it's a Super Rep and not a NWBIG, while the date version (always from VSF) is a true NWBIG. Anyone can help?

Hello guys,
I have been disconnected from the forum for years.
I have a 116610 vsf, the watch is very nice, I bought when came out. the only thing I am not satisfied is with the insert (dark numbers), please could someone advised when buy the best aftermarket insert and if it easy to change? thank you very much in advance.

Just received my K25 serial 114060. I will preface the following by stating that I already own a VSF 2R 126610.

The K25 114060 is a great rep and I do not want to stoke the 2R circlejerk fire, but like pretty much everything else I've received since my 2R 126610, I was a bit disappointed by a couple minor things.
  1. Crown "grittiness" - The crown doesn't screw in/out nearly as smooth as my 2R. My CF DD3285 GMT has a similar issue. This was easily resolved my cleaning the crown threads, but I haven't had as much luck using the same methods on my K25 watch
  2. Bracelet - the K25 isn't remotely close to the feeling of the 2R bracelet's suppleness (and silence). I've scrubbed the thing down with my usually olive oil hand soap and an old electric toothbrush, but I haven't been able to achieve the same quality as my 2R.
Once again, I don't want to stoke the 2R circklejerk fire, but wanted to share my experience with both in hand. There undoubtedly (minor) differences between batches.

I have a K25 as well. How does the rehaut compare to your 126610? That’s the only thing I’m disappointed with.

1, I had the same on my vsf datejust, some cleaning and a little dab of baby oil and it’s very smooth.

2, My bracelet was fine when I got it but the clasp was a little squeaky so I gave it the baby oil bath and now it’s great all over. You need to get the oil into the joints, you won’t achieve this with a toothbrush.

No need to replace. Try cleaning it with a toothbrush using warm water and dish soap. I am sure that you will see a difference in the numbers.
I think that oxidation causes the numbers to go dark.

I might've gotten lucky but the alignment is actually a bit better on my K25. Neither is off enough to really bother me though as they are both well within the margin of error for gens

Polishing and legibility are a hair better on the 2R, but I actually prefer the more subtle effect on the K25, accuracy be damned.
