Fuck what will be the best option then? It seems like this RAF isn’t the best 16610LN then :/ I’m bummed out, changing the hands and indices sounds expensive and a lot of work for someone who doesn’t know how to work on watches
Tough call. I have been thinking about a build like this for some time but havenèt pulled the trigger yet. I have been leaning towards a phong case as the options are slim right now. That being said, they run at $1400. @Johnny Depp has brought forward a solid five digit build series of cases he sound on the bay that might also work as a base as well. Have a look at this thread.

You could use the Ebay 16710 case for a 16610 build, but you would need to shave the CGs down. They are too wide for a 16610. I did a review of that case. The maker of this case is working on a 16610 release also, we don't know when.

Ebay 16710 case review

Also there is a new 16610 case from a vendor in South Korea.

Hey KJ, do you know if those cases fit rep16610 dials? (the rep dials are larger than gen and does not fit gen-spec case)

Phong case? and I'd be curious to know which case sets he bought!

Slight chance you might do better asking for the "case set", which includes the bracelet. Times may have changed but that was a thing in years past, I've bought several. Bracelet would be an easy flip, might even be of use to you.
dibs on the bracelet

Eagerly awaiting some QC pics here before I jump in myself. Have been waiting on an ARF for too long.

GEN date disk does fit the SA3135. I haven't done it yet but it may require some adjustments or light modifications.

No QC yet
The RAF (likely ARF re-release) does not show an SA3135 in PT's pics. It's an SH3135, which BTW only ARF uses. The SH will take a gen DW, but not nearly as easily or without issues as a VR/VS. The VR/VS rep DWs are good enough that it would be a better option to just swap the movement IMO.

From my post on page 1 of this thread:

The movement is not an SA but SH and since ARF is the only factory using these it's a pretty clear fingerprint. Plus the clasp coronet is off center right, a known ARF issue.

SA3135 has the regulator arms reversed.

Thanks KJ! I agree or a "new factory" using some left over ARF bits.

I did notice the off-center coronet but I did not realize it was infact an SH movement.

Still waiting on my QC

I’m guessing I can pick up a vs3135 in the sales section handy enough?
