All QF 12 series have short crown guards and wrong pusher angle. APSF, BT, Clean, VS all have 1:1 case. Personally, I’d take the APSF Le Mans, despite the tiny 24 dial flaw.

These QF case flaws are more noticeable than slight WG color difference or 50g weight difference this thread is obsessing over.

Yeah that´s all true. Every detail could be spot on an genlike as possible. But if you take a look at the movement throu the caseback, you will see immidiately it´s not the real thing. But anyway, I will also wait for the "prime" factory´s release of the lemans.

I'll enjoy my QF Le Mans when it arrives. Not sure how often I'll wear it, but it will be cool to have in the rotation. When a "better" rep comes out, I'll be able to use this one to mod, etc.

Not sure if I'll go to the extent of having it plated, but we'll see once it comes in. In all honesty, nobody other than me will ever look at it that critically. At least not in my area.

Bonjour,
Connaissez vous la différence entre le QF V5 et le QF V6 ?
Merci

is it just me or is it starting to become an insane thing to need the weight to be 100% on point?
who the hell is gonna weigh the watch? it looks incredible just enjoy the damn thing stop being so picky or go buy yourself a genuine LeMans
The point is in this thread to pin point the differences and see the the factory’s can actually feed our demands and wishes … if we accept what they produce this is what they will pump out to us … keep the whining up and hopefully they will provide us with a replica that is fabulous … I say keep the pressure on and we get near to what we this is acceptable:)

~ It's not too much to expect everything on a $800-900 rep to be on point.

I think most people see this particular rep as a 'band aid' until something better comes along.

If you want the factory to do a better job, don't buy the band aid.

Okay, this thread got the best of me, and I ordered both the WG and YG Heavy versions. I am still taking the stickers off and cleaning them up, but here are some weights for the heavy version.

As is the case with all of the heavy versions from regular factories, the Dealers and Factories are stretching the truth a little regarding the actual weight.

Both weigh ~176g-

This is my Clean 126, and I will use it as a reference-

This would indicate the heavy is ~33g heavier than my Clean; remember this part.

Here are the links and the clasps; as you can see, there is a little weight added to both-

Here is the head of both watches-

Now, this is where the truth gets a little muddy. This is the QF and Clean, both sized the same for my wrist-

You can see the difference here is only 22g. So where did the other 11g go? Well, QF has two extra links in the bracelet that make up most of it. One of them is even a fixed link on the 12 o'clock side, which was interesting.

What does this mean? Absolutely nothing . The watch still looks fantastic, and I expected there to be some trickery with the weight, just like the other factories are doing.

I will post some glamour shots once I get everything cleaned and lubed. I am still debating whether to swap crystals or even just the gasket to see if the dial looks even better.

Thank you very much for your efforts. 👍 Since I need to remove almost all removable links from bracelets due to my small wrist I cannot see any points to get the gain weight version of this watch. Thanks again for helping me in making my decision. 🙏

The case is still significantly heavier on the wrist compared to the ss, if that makes it any better

22 gr or less gain weight for the whole sized bracelet watch is not worth for me.

I got my tungsten Le Mans today, the gain weight is a bit of a scam because of the extra links they add. after removing my links it is forsake heavier than a normal steel but its not too significant. I would say if spending the extra 100 isnt a big deal to you still get the tungsten as that would be a better option if you decide to put an oyster flex on it. but the 100 is a lot to you, save and get the steel.
