Just got mine (been advised by CTime that it's the latest batch with fixed rotor/screw problem).

Thanks @CTime!

Have they fixed the bezel rotation? Many of the CF GMTs are extremely stiff, even after cleaning.

I don't think I have ever seen one that was stiff. They are all greased like crazy and have a very muted feel. If it's stiff its likely someone installed it with the wrong gasket or it was damaged on install.

I have one from the latest batch, I have nothing to compare it to but just going off memory from trying a gen at an AD it has a very similar thump on each click. It doesn't make an actual click sound, it is muted, but feels like the tension is just right. Also to note, there's no noticeable play at all when wiggling side to side as others had described with the earlier versions, it stays put.

Seems Clean does just ignore the efforts of some members and dealers to help them improve something :D

I feel like it's pretty evident now that factories purposely mess things up in order to later provide "updates". As precise as many of their manufacturing is, it doesn't make sense that they mess up such noticeable things many times. Plus they have free QC from all of us, lol

They are working on this since last time I suggested, just need some time to adjust the final result.
Clean is always learning and improving, members here helped a lot, like for the GMT V2 bezel, we updated it from @KJ2020 's advises

You should buy @KJ2020 first class airfare to China and hire him to spend a few days consulting with Clean and they could then produce the best watches imaginable.

Let's not forget @derjenigewelcher 's input as well. His discovery of reshaping the click ring with slight outward pulls in between the oval pin bases is groundbreaking. It makes the pin bases hug the retaining ring scallops more tightly. The click ring is a spring after all, and this rep part can really benefit from greater tension there.

I routinely reshape this part now just with my thumb and forefinger, to put a slight increase in the curves between the pin bases. It's surprising how much this helps.

@CTime We are really happy to have you as our spokesman to CLEAN. Your efforts as a TD are remarkable!

I lnow it's probably too late now but if CLEAN wanted a much simpler, WAY better bezel assembly they could use the 'Rollerball' bezel. This bezel is incredible and a better design than the gen IMO. The design is very similar to the Sub - no play, solid clicks, smooth movement and NO GREASE. This thing is the bomb. I've read that it came from GSF, mine came from Ali Express.

A different type of rep GMT bezel - The Rollerball!

Funny when factorys need to decide if they want to be genlike or better @KJ2020 😂

I am not a superb modder, just a guy that gets angry when he receives shitter prts and pulls them apart. lucky me most of the times they get better hahaha

Is this case somewhere available?

GSF GMT is what several other members said bro. Mine was listed as a Noob V12 but I think that's unlikely. Noob V12 Pepsi's still had the horrific half groove (topless groove) hytrel ring seat and the Noob V12 BLNR and LN were standard assemblies like everyone else. The Pepsi was odd man out because its insert was so thick as the first real ceramic Pepsi.

Noob GMT Pepsi's poor bezel design

One good thing came from this bad Noob bezel assembly - it introduced me to using fishline for a hytrel. A technique that has since saved me from countless headaches with failed hytrel rings.
