In my humble opinion, as strapmaker, and considering any PAM and specially this 312 as a versatile watch, any rep strap is for replacing it:

1. with gen strap (if you like the look)

or

2. trying to change for a completely different style with third party strapmakers, never cloning gen straps.

Hey guys just got my QC pictures for this watch, but the lume looks quite green to me. My understanding is the gen lume is like an acqua like color. Below is the QC picture I got. Anyone else have similar issues or am I just plain wrong here?

Gen is like that as well, i think Pam 320 / 329 (GMT version) are the ones with Aqua blue lume.

Well first put gaskets if there isn't one, and then apply silicone grease to all the seals, then tighten the caseback.

torn between this and the vsf 441. The vsf PAM 441 has been shown side by side with a gen, and it's identical on the front, only telltale is the 24hr GMT. By any chance, anyone did a side by side comparison of the VSF 312 with a gen? A side by side if it looks identical might swing me to get this one first before the 441
