Does that power reserve indicator work? Is that how simple the power reserve indicator is in the gen[emoji28]?

No, the indication is just faux, unfortunately.
You need a lot more gears for a working PR indicator

This is how the gen P.9001 PR indicator looks

Oh wow. Thanks for that info. I've got a question, why was the making of a clone movement necessary? Was it for the the sake of thickness? What was the problem with the A7750?

Yes Mark
That is really weird
This dial looks really good
It is the same dial of KW-V6Fac but with correct inscriptions colour

ALE

there's a photo in Chris' movement teardown showing VF and KW dials' underneath shows that they are of different make? KW's has a groove whilst VF doesn't. i have seen a KW 312 dial and it has the same groove too.

comparing inscriptions is going to be quite tricky.

While inscriptions "change color" under different lighting conditions - gen seems to be more dynamic. I handled a same gen 312, where its inscriptions would show brownish tint (lighter version of KW but not that brown) but can go all the way closer to the pale yellowish lume and there are times it can go yellowish.

photos vs viewing in person also had its discrepancy!

nonetheless, VS dial looks exciting!

Sorry for not asking direct questions. It seems like there are scratches some scratches / marks on the case and a lot of reflection (i'm not sure if this due to the lights in the room or the flash used by the camera)? how about +11 s/d is this acceptable?

Could be dirt, or more likely, dried water spots. Timegraph data is okay! This is a very nice watch, I'd take it.

Because it is the essence of the hobby. Why do we need the slight chamfer on the CG on the PAM111 from V2 to V3/V4? Why is the shape of the lugs on the PAM1312 changed so quickly from V1 to V3? Simply because they were on the gen, and we are always striving to close the gap between our reps and their gen counterparts. The A7750 is a veritable rep workhorse, being used on so many reps not only PAMs and its thickness is not an impediment to PAM reps using them to achieve gen thickness. But the A7750 (and the ST2555) have always had the inaccuracy of the balance wheel not being on the 7 o'clock mark. This is especially important to those models with display casebacks such as the PAM312 and PAM441. That's what's essentially keeping them from reaching super rep status (at least low-level, as there is still the function matter of the P.9000 specific functions as well as the 24hr GMT, which is an inaccuracy on 12hr GMT models).

Just wondering has anyone received their 312 yet? And does anyone know if there's been a side by side comparison with the gen?

Congratulations.
But are there any second hand wobbling issues?
If you shake the watch, does the second hand move a little bit?

No reason to have these issues
The beat is 28.800 bph
