Well, I don't have a PAM312 as of the moment so the new movement does give me extra incentive to get it. I do have a PAM359 with the old movement so still thinking about that one because I also just got the new PAM1359 with the aesthetically correct P.9010 movement. I will probably find an excuse to buy one. Hehehe

Then the bridge of the rep movement has made like the gen one

I could be wrong but this appears to have the same gear setup as the 7750 which only winds in one direction. It would have been really cool to have bi-directional winding.@Grimlocktime
The clone P.9000 don't have the "magic lever"
They use a normal reversing wheel (looks like one from a 28xx movement)
It's not totally decorative, it serves a purpose for sure as it holds the jewels of the winding gears and barrels, but it is an interesting similarity between the rep and the gen. Just a small leap to get from the current design to the gen! I bet Panerai chose this design because it would be easier to finish a thin metal bridge than a thick multi-faceted bridge.
The price will vary slightly from dealer to dealer. That's how the game is played. For example, for some dealers, they offer 10% discount if you pay by WU. That would drive the price from 328$ to less than 300$.
Funny, when the v6f/kw 312 came out 'everybody' was complaining about the too yellowish LUMINOR MARINA PANERAI printing. Now this vsf comes out, and there is nobody talking about how good the printing is!

It is the same dial of KW-V6Fac but with correct inscriptions colour

damn this is the real historical break through of the rep world, nice effort, VSF. Now, how reliable is this movement? only time will tell but guess factory have been testing these movement for a while but. Like some member said here, its good a news for us, bad news for our wallet haha
