Yes, the DW magnification on clean is wrong.

Mine with gen DW n xtal:

Depending on the watchmaker and the gasket used the magnification changes even if DW, crystal and gasket are all Gen. Your watch is very GEN like. Magnification is perfect 👌 Congrats and wear it in good health.

Yes i heard about this too, they shave the gasket a little to make the magnification of the DW a little smaller.

V3 insert is the best I have seen.
I have the Gen MK3 and GEN MK2

Bellow are comparison photos of the GEN MK3 (left) and V3 insert (right)

In the photos you can see a slight difference but in reality the difference is very small. Two of my friends have Gen MK3 and all 3 of us have slightly different colors.

If anyone wants any more pictures feel free to ask.

beautiful photos. May I know what you use to photograph?

Hello,

I received my Pepsi and contemplating increasing the bezel lip.
I went through this thread https://forum.replica-watch.info/threads/cf-pepsi-bezel-lip-mod.10076178/ and understood the materials needed. But I'm unsure the way to do it, do you guys recommend doing it manually by hands or with a Dremel?
I suppose the way is to grind this red zone downward with the sandpaper to make it more flat ?

Appreciate the help.

Read it again, especially post 8, where KJ2020 is kind enough to do a photo guide, there is no way to misinterpret that :)

I'd be down for more pictutes in heavier light to show the brighter color differences!

Best that i could get without gen parts:
- Bezel lip mod
- Clean Crystal(good one)
- Aftermarket gasket(gen crystal height achieved)
- Rehaut Polished
- Bezel rotation fixed(as gen sound and action)
- Waterproof

What size gasket did you use to get “gen like”?

Clean v3( China calls it v2)
Gen datewheel
Gen crystal
2.7mm gasket ( to match gen mag)
CNC bezel as the clean bezel scallops are too sharp
Bezel lip mod

Nice build. Are you saying with the 2.7 gasket its still too much? Is 2.7 the lowest you can use without touching the seconds hand?

Gen gasket is 2.7mm, gen crystal is 1.8mm

Use these combinations and you will get gen spec mag.

Clean gasket is 3.0mm, clean crystal is 1.65mm. Reduce to gasket to 1.85mm. If you are using back clean crystal use 1.85mm gasket

If your crystal is 2.0mm( submariner crystals), you will need to reduce the gasket to 2.5mm. However it will touch the hands.

2.7mm with a 1.8mm crystal is the sweet spot. If you set the hands properly you will never touch the hands on the crystal. If you are buying deep crystals make sure it’s the 1.8mm crystals for gmt. If you are buying gen crystal , buy those for gmts @1.8mm instead of those for subs at 2.0mm

I whole I was clear with this explanation. I did the research so you guys won’t have to.
