Clean GMT-II Pepsi updated bezel insert V2/V2s review and comparison

V3 insert is the best I have seen.
I have the Gen MK3 and GEN MK2

Bellow are comparison photos of the GEN MK3 (left) and V3 insert (right)

In the photos you can see a slight difference but in reality the difference is very small. Two of my friends have Gen MK3 and all 3 of us have slightly different colors.

In my personal opinion if you want a great Pepsi, you only need:

Clean V3
Lip mode
GEN Crystal
GEN date wheel
GEN hyrtal and clickspring ( if you want to go the extra mile but no need IMO)

I am currently building this watch with the above specs and will sell my GENs and wear it with confidence in front of my friends who have GENs.

It is a great REP with the above mods!

You think that the datewheel really worth it? I have Clean v2
V3 insert
Lip mod
Gen xtal

And really for me the most important thing is the lipmod, makes all difference, then Xtal. But xtal of course is needed as well

My reps rehaut are not polished and they don’t seem very different than my Gen unless you really put it very close to your eye to try to find a difference.
Anyways, it’s all about preference and which flaw you can live with. It’s a rep and a great one.

Very true, one of the best reps even without any mods.

I don’t have a Gen Pepsi to compare, but in comparison to my Daytona or Sub the rehaut of the Clean looked pretty rough. But I agree, in the end it’s down to what you prefer and all of these flaws are pretty hard to notice at an arms length
