2.7mm is perfect for a gen crystal. It is about the lowest you can goNice build. Are you saying with the 2.7 gasket its still too much? Is 2.7 the lowest you can use without touching the seconds hand?

Effin life saver!! Thank you!! You saved me some headaches.Gen gasket is 2.7mm, gen crystal is 1.8mm
Use these combinations and you will get gen spec mag.
Clean gasket is 3.0mm, clean crystal is 1.65mm. Reduce to gasket to 1.85mm. If you are using back clean crystal use 1.85mm gasket
If your crystal is 2.0mm( submariner crystals), you will need to reduce the gasket to 2.5mm. However it will touch the hands.
2.7mm with a 1.8mm crystal is the sweet spot. If you set the hands properly you will never touch the hands on the crystal. If you are buying deep crystals make sure it’s the 1.8mm crystals for gmt. If you are buying gen crystal , buy those for gmts @1.8mm instead of those for subs at 2.0mm
I whole I was clear with this explanation. I did the research so you guys won’t have to.
Correct but unfortunately it's not a right science on these Clean watches.Gen gasket is 2.7mm, gen crystal is 1.8mm

I have two Clean GMT's, both new batch with DD3285.
One of them fits a gen crystal and the lowest gasket that my watchmaker could fit was 2,8mm.
He tried to remove and to set hands better but 2,7mm gasket was always against second hand pinion.
So it has now the gen crystal(right one for GMT) but it's a bit higher than gen because of the 2,8mm gasket.
On the other one(Pepsi that i posted it some days ago) he used a nice stock clean crystal with 2,7mm gasket and as you can see it fits very good (gen like crystal height and correct magnification).
It's weird as it's not common to get that result with that combo but that's it.
The conclusion in my opinion is that there is not a right way to handle crystals on Clean Gmt's as they are not all gen spec measures, the opposite.
Yep it's.You need to be sure your gen crystal is for gmt and not subs because subs crystals are 2.0mm.
Make sure you are using b25-7035 series crystals and not the b25-295 series crystals.
They fit different
its a good compromise. And i think the date mag will not be that far offJust finished my mini mods on my CF V3. The lowest gasket I was able to go was 2.6ish. I shaved down a 2.7 as far as I can go without touching the seconds hand. For the record , I am using a Gen Crystal for subs 295. [url=https://postimg.cc/ygbd0F2S]![]()

Actually let me rephrase my question. Does the new bezel fit the first gen CF pepsi? Can I buy from a dealer and install it?am I wrong or is not the most obvious tell the tomato color red bezel and not the more cherry gen? Shouldn't that be the #1 mod?
If no one makes one that is the right color does a gen one fit the CF?
Yes new bezel fits your v1. Your v1 has incorrect bezel color but v3 is near perfect.Actually let me rephrase my question. Does the new bezel fit the first gen CF pepsi? Can I buy from a dealer and install it?
