Are you sure? I checked with a dealer and that it doesn't fit the DD3186 version
I'm very confused

When you say v1, I assumed you meant, Clean v1 DD3285. If the DD3285 version, insert swappable.

If you mean the old generation VR3186, this case this isn't really known as the v1 Clean GMT..... and if you own a VR3186, the answer to this one is i don't know, trust the dealer

I am still waiting on a Clean Batman, got one in Feb last year one of the first V3’s and the hairspring failed after about a month. Lots of discussions later and I agreed a discount on a replacement, ordered in September, GL 6 weeks later then lost in transit, waiting on the replacement since the start of December and still waiting so about 10 weeks so far. Good to see that I should hopefullly get the new Y2L6 model this time with minor improvements

Hi All,

I'm new to this community and first wanted to start off by thanking all of you for your super helpful and insightful sharing across all 152 pages of this thread. (Yes I read every single page of this thread. Took me a week!).

From this thread I gathered that C Time comes highly recommended and that there are 2 current versions for CF (a V3 and V3s)
I initiated an order with C Time for a Clean V3 and got my QC pics. From my understanding reading this thread (and correct me if I am wrong), the serial number on the rehaut should be L6V6? However, on mine is shows a Y2L6.

I would really appreciate if the helpful members here can advise on the following 2 things:
1. Should I be concerned about the serial number? Just want to make sure I'm getting what I asked for
2. Is the version in the QC pic a V3? (I really read through all the pages and photo comparison but I still can't seem to discern so)

Many thanks in advance to all!

Y2L6 is latest clean version...L6V6 is still used by ARF other rep factories.

Your example looks great...

Correct but unfortunately it's not a right science on these Clean watches.
I have two Clean GMT's, both new batch with DD3285.
One of them fits a gen crystal and the lowest gasket that my watchmaker could fit was 2,8mm.
He tried to remove and to set hands better but 2,7mm gasket was always against second hand pinion.
So it has now the gen crystal(right one for GMT) but it's a bit higher than gen because of the 2,8mm gasket.
On the other one(Pepsi that i posted it some days ago) he used a nice stock clean crystal with 2,7mm gasket and as you can see it fits very good (gen like crystal height and correct magnification).
It's weird as it's not common to get that result with that combo but that's it.
The conclusion in my opinion is that there is not a right way to handle crystals on Clean Gmt's as they are not all gen spec measures, the opposite.
Hi, in your opinion is a deep crystal not worth it for the clarity? Is it mainly to change the cyclops magnification?

Personally, I would not swap the clean crystal for a deep crystal.
If i decide to change crystal, gen is the only way i take.
Fyi: yesterday i received my pepsi as i asked to swap crystal with gen one.
It's obviously another planet.
Gen like crystal height achieved with this Clean Model.
Maybe this one as a lucky rehaut height? I fon't know but i couldn't get the same result with the same crystal on my Clean Batman.
Weird.
Pictures later.
