It's not a NWBIG because it takes about 2 seconds to tell from the case back that the movement is lightyears from a Vacheron Constantin. Still a very good rep though.
yeah, I kinda understand with all those transparent caseback, precisely one of the reason why I still holding back on ordering 4500V
is there any nice solid caseback (and nicely decorated, maybe) that can fit the 4500V?

Personally, I think the XF 2000V is a much better choice unless you really need the date.

If you can get an early one with sharp corners to the gears it is a great rep. More recent ones are now very rounded and far from gen.

No, the corners to the bezel "gears". Early batch these were sharp. Later batch are all very rounded.

No, but there is a superb version 2 overseas with solid caseback available. Personally I prefer the look of the 4500V, even if it is slightly further from gen.

superb version 2? mind to elaborate further?
Sure. It's the 47040 made by JJF.

No longer available but there was one for sale in m2m last week.

If anyone is interested in what the current status of the old problems is.

Unfortunately, ZF did not fix them.

I ordered a silver and a black Oversea. I've had to turn down three so far and I'm still thinking about the fourth.
It was all there. Twisted dial, crooked cross, twisted bezel and date too high.

With the fourth Oversea everything is clear. But the date is very high. Can a watchmaker repair this?

I would like to specifically praise Li and Lana from jtime. They do their best. I just don't know if another round will be better.

Li is the best, I’m not sure about the high date I feel like yes it could be repaired - id honestly green light it if everything else checks out

Rejected three times on two different watches. One black and two silver. The third silver one is the best so far but the date on it is not correct. See picture above. If you've read the whole thread, unfortunately I'm not the only one.

I owned a ZF 4500V and I know what it's flaws are... I'm just saying that at some point you should just accept the watch and find a competent modder to adjust the indices and logos to your standard....

That's why I asked if anyone knows whether a watchmaker can correct the date? Do you know that?
