Yachtmaster Grey Dial 2016 by Noob

[MENTION=83013]smoke[/MENTION] ive got a noob and im picking up a GEN on Wednesday, i'm totally new to the game but happy to weigh them up for comparison when i get it.

I had SEL concerns on QC but experienced forum members said it's fine. Fairly new to the rolex game but upon receiving the watch the braclet feels "wiggly" and not stiff by the sell area. Almost loose. Is there anything I can do to tighten this

How bad is the SEL here, is it me or is it really that bad?

Second, after removing the stickers, the watch seems to have these marks, any idea on how to remove them?

cade cloth. sel is OK. gen has gaps here and there too.

Thank you for sharing your insight.

I wasn't initially worried at it on wrist. What made me worry and examine it more closely (and perhaps over think it) was the fact that the SEL and pin felt loose and wiggly.

Then of course those marks which thanks to [MENTION=94858]rooser[/MENTION] i'll clean off.

Lol and your dial is misaligned.see people need to realise watches are made by humans so they ain't gonna be perfect. You can get close to perfect but never 100 percent

Guy i need your help about my QC, seem the dial is misaligned and is there a problem at the rehuat at 49th sec marker ? beside that do you notice any flaws.

Because it looks the most aesthetic .with the new jf sa 3135 dial gen xtal and datewheel the watch looks gen.only flaw is the insert. That I'm replacing with a gen bezel.also the grey rhodium version has the wrong rehaut engraving for that model.and the rolistiam version is all good I really like it but looks too plain but I would get it over the rhodium one all day due to the case being incorrect on that version

The ocd raised it's ugly head again.the dial is perfectly aligned.it looks like a good example
It must be the 2824 as the dwo is left justified a bit unlike the perfectly centred 3135 version

If you look closely at the noob ym rehaut engraving you will notice that the R is way more visable than the other letters.we were talking about this the other day lol.but it don't bother me as this is still the best rep rehaut I've ever seen on a rep.but it's weird lol

Okay clear! Must say blue dial really looks stunning and is something different especially with that sunburst effect.
What factory has the best rolesium dial by the way?

That's the problem really.I suppose you could relume a kh ym dial but the 16622 dial and 116622 dial look pretty similar so if your not anal about using a 16622 dial in a 116622 then do that.again this is another reason I went with the blue version.
I would probably keep the noob stock dial if I went for the rolistiam version. Then order a gen dial as they are pretty common.I was thinking about a tc ym insert but the fon't is wrong on the tc aswell.so I'll stay with the noob insert untill they fix the font to sharp correct .im.still searching actively for the gen bezel.

Please don't be offended by the comment. No one means to imply that you have a mental disorder. It is meant more to infer that as a group of people watch collectors have a tendency to be over fussy about very minor details
