AP Diver V7 (?) JF - Problem with Date Alignment!!

Hey guys,

So I bought an AP Diver (if I remember correctly its V7 and JF, I bought it in October of 2014 and it was the most updated one at the time).

Everything works great and I'm very happy with the look of the watch, EXCEPT the fact that the date dial is terrible. Some numbers appear as a whole but often part of the number is cut off (at the bottom) and part of the next number shows slightly. I have had this for a few weeks and have just put off from posting about it but decided to talk about it tonight. I will add pictures tomorrow.

Does anyone know of any solutions, either on my own or through a modder/dealer? I'm not trying to complain about the replica I got - I love it! I just want to make it even better and not have my date dial all screwed up!

Thanks for all your help!

It's the datewheel. It's printing wrong

I'm a bit of a newbie with reps so if someone could be so kind as to tell me what exactly to purchase to fix the problem that would be wonderful! Or direct me to another thread if this issue has already been addressed.

Soul2Soul, it is very possible that I do not have a V7 but a V7 instead. From my understanding, TDs just used both interchangeably but no one really knew if they had a V7 or V6.

RWI650, will the noob date wheel fit my Diver?

did you ever use the search function? this has been discussed to death.

V7 has crooked datewheels in some watches. Look at the serial numbers at the caseback to determine V7. It should start with I

you will need to open up the watch to rearrange the datewheel overlay.

you could send it to domi to get all the needed mdos done, (AR, datewheel fix, reccessed screws)

Good luck

If you are not steady handed, I advise against doing this. It is not tube most difficult of work if you know what you are doing, but if you are like me, you will eff up your watch..lol
