What AP Franken(s) do you have in the works?!

who wants to bear the costs when Domi sits down for days over days trying things that may or may not work?
Parts that can break in the process...

you keep hearing behind closed doors that one is too expensive and this one is too excessive...

take a week's vacation to carry out a project quickly but the price is then too expensive in the end.
it just makes you lose interest, but that's another topic.

no matter, I'm happy about every project and the way to this. this is still the most fun for me and the next ones are already in progress.

This 26331 cnc case you pictured they are selling it for around 15000rmb(2500usd). So 8k they said to you its a scam. Personally i found 2500usd already crazy for a steel cnc case.

Maybe one of our modders or AMF can help

The franken build is they use this cnc case with fp1185 movement and gen dial(you can find it around 1000-1500usd at chrono -ebay last time i checked)

You can make it bro and very cheaper than the price they ask at China imo
I would start like this:

Find a a cheap gen dial at chrono or ebay at around 1000-1500usd, gen AP parts are getting harder and more expensive so this wpuld be the first thing to obtain.

Then find the cheapest fp1185 movement(search for cheaper gen watches thats use it), i have seen that they use a cartier movement also at this project but dont know which one

Then the cnc case

Hands if you find gen i bet they can cost up to 2k so maybe aftermarket hands can be ok for now

Still an expensive project but sure not 10-15k that is the asking price in China right now

Yes bro, that is correct. But I am looking for a blue dial, so it is quite hard. But as it is the central piece of the watch, I would like the dial first.

Yeah, blue dial and cheap build is not happening then, but for sure it is the greatest

Hello !! These days not a lot of new ap roo frankens being talked about. A lot of talk from a few years ago but seems slow nowadays. Why is it slowed down? Im super interested in geting one buil personally. Is it because gen parts aren't available these days?

Hello everyone! I just started a new project for 15400st. I bought gen dial and bezel from a local trusted source but after receiving the dial looks similar to my ZF stock. :/ even though the seller has confirmed his dial is gen I have my doubts now since there is no serial number at the back of the dial as I have seen a few online and AP logo is much smaller than ZF ( as legend had written older models have smaller logo.)
I please need your expert advice on the authenticity of both the dial and bezel. (Legend since you’re the ap dragon can you please help)
please be kind enough to verify the same else I will be returning it to him.

Easy there, your dial is gen. An older H/I series silver but gen all the same.
The bezel is gen. Please don’t return them, as there is no reason to.
