Good luck on the sale, LuoIsBoss. I am wondering if anyone here is able and willing to thin my 44mm franken caseback to ~14.5mm down from 15.7....

Does anyone happen to know if there are any workable substitutes for the date wheel of a gen cal. 2121? From what I've read, neither the 3120 nor 9015 date wheels would work. Last part I'm missing for my 15202 build.

Near term Best bet would be to use an overlay printed to the spec you want and attaching to an old 2121 date wheel.
Someone here had posted about printing overlay for their franken.

You can get a custom printed dw for your gen 2121 based 15202. Dark blue base and correct AP font. I’ve done 2 for 2x 15202 builds using the 2121 caliber.

I don't have a base date wheel to use, but if I find one that sounds like it might be the way to go. I think I've seen the posts you're referring to. I tried that with my 15400 build but we didn't think there was enough clearance to pull it off. The tolerances on that watch are insane.

Would that require that I already have the base date wheel to print on or is it the whole package?

Are there sealing rings in Royal Oak 15202 or others ? If no, would it be possible to set them ?

Legend, any plans for 3120 with modern font for the apsf-zf 15400? Or you think their rep dw's are already good enough?

Gen dw will be able to fit the clone movement I think and their dw are good enough for me.

I‘m thinking about selling one of my Frankens, a 42mm Offshore, silver dial and metal bracelet, but I have no idea what price to ask for.

Gen dial and tacky, Mickey hands and date wheel, work by Domi.

Any ideas how much I can ask for so it‘s fair for both seller and buyer?

You have to provide proof of cost-payments and mods done to the moderators for each one, so you will have in the end the total cost of what you paid excluding shipping and fees, so you can ask for what you paid and less.

Normally for what i see, you are around 3000euros(if by work of domi you mean thining and mods for lwo283)

I‘ve paid €3,750 for the watch, but this time I bought it "ready" from Domi, so I don‘t have the breakdown of the cost since I didn't‘t source the parts myself for this watch.

Then no problem, you have the proof of payment to Domi right?

You can ask the money you paid excluding Shipping and other fees and go from there

Domi can probably confirm the price here in the forum.
