My approved QC from @CTime ... looking forward to putting this on simple brown leather or nubuck and having a sneaky daily.
Yes, the pictures I posted were my approved QC of a VSF 40mm explore 1.Is this a VSF? The Crown doesnt look small in the photos. Does anyone else think so? Am I missing something? Thanks!
Which crown model does the gen use? 24-604?@Watchpan It's a VSF. It does look small, because it is. You are missing a big enough crown, this one is too small. But why worry, if it looks big enough for you? You won't be flashing it on IG, will you?
It's not that obvious IRL, don't worry about it
I see. Thank you. As you can tell I am new to all of this Regarding the movement in particular...what would I need to do to get one of these up to COSC levels of accuracy? I am willing to send this to a rep friendly local watchmakerBoth VSF and Clean have their act together with the explorer 1, I can assure you , I’ve had both Clean 39 and VSf 40, kept 40mm vsf one as preferred the larger size (this was before clean released 40mm). Like with all reps there are minor issues here and there, if you want a flawless watch buy a genuine one.
Any size (36/39/40mm) of either clean or vsf are amongst some of the best watches you can get. I view my vsf 40mm as the best watch I have/ had in recent months it’s that good, all are tbf.
Just pick the one you want and enjoy it
COSC accuracy? lol don't believe the rep lies. It's a replica movement. Maybe somebody gets lucky and gets a movement that can fall into COSC but rep movement is rep movement. If you want "accuracy" in a watch, don't buy a replica - stick to your gens and quartz.I see. Thank you.
