I assumed the Exp I is a 20mm lug width (I think) and the Sub 41 is a 21mm (this I'm sure of). @Jossé responded above and has more experience that I do (I'm not being sarcastic here). You’re not entirely wrong, the 39mm is 20mm! Rolex for some unknown reason switched to 21mm for the 40mm.

Not sure, but if no one answers, I'll have an Explorer I here soon and see if a clasp from a 124060 fits. I could be wrong, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

I should have the watch here this week. It just cleared customs here in the US. I'd say 3-5 days and I'll try it!

@Jossé I was able to successfully put a glide lock clasp from a 124060 on the Explorer I.

Thanks man! Some other feedback on the 40mm VSF Exp I. If you have a large wrist (bigger than 7-1/2 inches), you may need extra links IF you don't use a glide lock. I have a 7-1/2 inch wrist and the Exp I fit my wrist perfectly out of the box.
