Right, I got that warranty card as well.Mine came with a V7 sticker and a black "IWC Schaffhausen" warranty card for serial number 7030494.
Nope. No V7 sticker and no warranty card.ZF uses the 9015, that's probably what you have there. V7 has stickers on the back saying V7F. You had any of those?
Yeah they probably mixed up the orders. They do look quite similar lol. Good on the TD for making things right and selling it m2m and giving it another go is probably your best way forward. Good luck and I hope you get your V7F, it's a great watch.Nope. No V7 sticker and no warranty card.
I confronted the TD saying he sent me a ZF. He then showed me the message of the order he gave to V7F.
Could also well be a mistake at the TD when assigning watches to orders. Maybe someone else now got my V7F instead of the ZF he ordered.
However TD acted quite helpful till yet and refunded me the difference between ZF and V7F. I may sell it now via M2M and then give it another try after CNY.
I got my V7F Mark18 Pilot with black dial in the summer of 2023. I couldn’t be happier with it. I had it checked and partially oiled by a trusted watchmaker. Now it’s on a good black leather strap since the one it came with doesn’t appear to be good quality.
i did 40 hand turns (basically half turnes. i guess i might turn the crown about 180 to 200 degree at each hand turn) so - around 25 full crown turns approximately. i thought that should be enough as i was wearing the watch the whole day before winding it upHow many times did you turn the crown? I never know when to stop...
but anyhow should not be an issue if you give it some more turns as its an automatic...( and therefore you anyway might not be doing this everyday ., as even on automatic manual winding might produce additional and unneccessary wear on the movement as far as i know..)i did 40 hand turns (basically half turnes. i guess i might turn the crown about 180 to 200 degree at each hand turn) so - around 25 full crown turns approximately. i thought that should be enough as i was wearing the watch the whole day before winding it up
The ZF tightens up after a loooooot of turns. I want to say a minute or two of twisting the crown. How many times did you turn the crown? I never know when to stop...
