Is it a Gen Miyota or an Asian version.

If gen, are they disassembled, decorated and reassembled ?
Don't know for sure but my understanding is that the the reps use real Miyotas where stated.

If they are decorated then I can't imagine they could do that assembled. So must be at least partially disassembled.

They are decorated, yes. I actually removed some of the fake decoration near the rotor to access the screws to silence my movement. I'm not sure if an asian clone of the Miyota 9015 does exist at this time, but someone can correct me if I am wrong. It's a very accurate movement but the rotor is loud being unidirectional, and I'd say lubing it is key. Loudest watch I own outside of my ZF SMP300.

EDIT: And yes, the decoration is pretty deep so they have been reassembled to allow this.

V7F released the bracelet version and a few members have received theirs.

i'm also just before ordering the bracelet version, just to be able to take a look at it (i guess i might wear it on nato then) - i'm curious how it's look and feel will be in real.

just one other thing: some have mentioned already that the v7f is not as noisy as the ZF might have been - could anyone comment on the power reserver? how much could be expected in real life from the asian movement within the v7f mark xx?

If it’s similar to the movement V7 use for the 18, I want to say about 48 hours. Really not bad at all, basically the same as the real ETA. I’ll swap to sellita if the main spring loses effectiveness.

The Miyota in the ZF is like 42 hours so close enough to gen as far as I'm concerned.

Just ordered my Mark XX from V7F. It's a black dial with leather strap.

I want to swap the strap and am looking for the correct size. Can someone having the watch check whether 20/18 is right?

I have the V7F Mark XX on a bracelet. It uses a Seagull ST1812 which is an ETA 2892 clone. It's super smooth to wind and mine had a delta of around 8s/d in 5 positions which isn't bad at all. Good amplitude and 0.1-0.2 beat error in all positions.

The case is a bit sharp against the skin so I knocked off the edges with 2000 grit sanding sticks and now it feels fantastic. The bracelet is great but the quick release is very very stiff. It's hard to take off but clicks in place nicely when putting them on. I resorted to removing the spring bars when taking off the bracelet instead of fighting the quick release.

The bracelet itself comes with the quick release links and they were a bit sticky to place back but we're nice after a rinse in the ultrasonic. It looks and feels very nice on the wrist and doesn't have the sharp edges of the case. For people with biggers wrists the solid end links might cause a problem with the angle it's set at. Might be pointing too much down.

For me it's a NWBIG for sure. Beautiful sunburst, great bracelet and a solid movement. The Seagull ST1812/2892 is a good step above the normal a2824 clones we usually get.

nice on! thank you for showing also the backside. on many other pictures the engravinga of the plane looked darker compared to the gen. that one now looks way better - might have been just an issue with their pictures or light conditions.
