...I’m used to winding the dandong 3235 and 4130 so when I wind the R8F it feels and sounds rough

Mine too. I also have a manual winding APRO skeleton tourby which winds like a charm compared to this one.

The AP engraving on the crown is a bit weird tho, but otherwise a very nice rep of a piece I have never seen in person and probably never will. And thats saying something, cause Ive had in my hands a lot of ultra exclusive AP stuff.

Thanks for spotting this. Yes, the AP engraving on the crown is smaller than that of the gen and that's why it looks offcenter a bit.

I wouldn’t worry about the crown logo engraving being slightly smaller. I’ll be thankful the price is significantly smaller with the watch retaining enough magic to pass off as an AP on your wrist.

Indeed! I was afraid of the dial being flat plastic but thankfully this is not the case at all!
