Watch keeps almost perfect time losing approx 1 sec per day or less but after finding that shard a service would be a good idea

Doesn't matter. Rep straps are seldom good anyway. If it's a bracelet it's a different story, but straps can easily be swapped around especially when the 23mm lug size is so common.

Does the nato fit the lug perfectly or is it slightly smaller than tbe lug?

Agree to disagree. I love this watch and the head is fantastic but a big part of it is the unique nato. Buying a gen one will be near impossible. A new leather strap will help but I'm not sure what your talking about with 23mm lug size being common. It's quite uncommon which is why most are settling for snugging in a 24mm. I do not think this is a deal breaker for buying the watch though. I plan to pick one up myself.

Mine just arrived. The leather strap is utter crap. Just ordered a 23mm strap from Martu. The watch head itself is excellent. A heads up.. the buckle for both the NATO and the rep leather strap aren't very good.

Yeah, as you said, rep leather is always bad. What are your thoughts on the nato? We know the weave is different but does it the seem like it will hold up?

Here are some pics. Definitely prefer rep NATO over the rep leather. NATO feels not too shabby and I think it'll hold up. Would be great if we can get a hold of the gen NATO though.

Bezel is good. Not overly tight like a virgin. There isn't any play if you press on the bezel. But some slight shift if you try to turn it clockwise. Crown feels good like the new shield Tudor BB Red that arrived together with this watch. Lume is good with no noticeable color differences between markers and hands. Under loupe and strong light I can see some unevenness for lume application but no one scrutinises it like that in real life anyway so that's fine. Rotor is louder than the BB Red but it's the same movement so I'm not sure if the rotor is screwed down tightly enough.

Overall very happy with this bronze blue rep and I'm looking forward to the patina.

Then its not gen like. The gen nato is smaller than the lug. But its just a small difference.
