The most obvious tell would be the quality of the NATO strap

The gen strap has a more distressed look and tighter weave pattern compared to the one from XF

Also looks like there is some gold woven into the edges. Shame cos this watch with the NATO would be the primary look imho.

My thoughts exactly. And it would be almost impossible to get your hands on the gen strap since its a boutique edition

Exactly. Problem here is everyone's looking at zoomed in close up shots that's why! In real life on the wrist, this doesn't happen.

Any problems with the bezel ? Heard stories about the pearl falling off in the old Black bay bronze

The only problem with the bezel is the same old KW/V6F/XF/WTF problem- play.
I don't know why they can't fix this. I've been working with some cheepo factory BBH cases and and the bezel action is perfectly smooth,with satisfying clicks and absolute positive stops. Maybe the XF guys should send an industrial spy to steal cheepo's bezel technology!
I have a V1 BBH bronze, and have been wearing regularly for over a year and the pearl is still intact.

No, it's not loose to the point of being sloppy. There's just a small amount of back play on the stops. It's certainly not bad enough for me to be upset about, but it is there.

Really loving mine!
I gave it a ketchup batch yesterday when I received and now will let some patina develop.
It look perfect and nobody will be able to say it's not the real thing.

I have a picture of it when I did it with my Pam671 so you can take a look. Just put the watch case in a recipient qith enough ketchup to cover the watch and wait a few minutes (+/-10mins).
And the nato is very good.

I just tightened a bit more the caseback, and it was already very tight.
I clean all of my watches as soon as I receive them, with water and soap and never had a problem by doing it.
