Do you poke it through the lug hole on the crown side of the case or the lug hole on the other side of the case?
This is my first watch with lug holes (and first rep too), as per my knowledge, is one supposed to poke it, compress the spring bar and then push the strap away from the case?
In my case I've felt no compression as I poked it through
Any advise would be greatly appreciated
It shouldn't take much compression as the spring bars are standard with only a mm or so in the lug hole. Try gently pressing down on the band with your thumb between the lugs while inserting the tool in the lug hole from either side.
It should only take minor poke to free it.

Can anyone else me if gen actually measures at 15mm tall? I can't seem to find that info anywhere!
Yes, gen and rep have tue same thickness, 15mm.
Some say 14mm, bit they are the same. That's for the regular bronze and for the bucherer edition.

You're awesome! You wouldn't also happen to know if there is a v2 bucherer in the works, would you? I've heard rumors, but when I talked to Sead, he didn't know anything about it.
Great review. That is one sexy watch. I always end up leaning toward black face watches and this wasn't even on my radar but now I have to have one. Racking up some debt on the old credit card this month. Totally worth it for this beauty!

We have to catch them all! LOL
I'm keeping my 671 cleaned from time to time, now it's cleaned with lemon juice. It gave a more yellowish tone to it, instead of the rose gold tone that ketchup gave to it. It's fun to play with those bronze watches.
