Is there a rep blue dial AP that is better? Ie: 15400, 15510 ?

No
Even some aftermarkets( not zf-apsf) are wrong
DP has too much sunburst
SW is even darker than the one you have

Yes imo the 15400 has better colour( at that helps that the gen has different blue shades through the years, the 15500 has only one shade) but has very wrong tappiserie at the latest release

Sorry to reply to myself as there is no edit, I read some people modify their dials and change the color, is there a recommended person to service and do this?

The 15450 is a good choice yes and if you want the grey dial then zf is the only way to go. Thank you.

Hi all, I have gone through most of the AP FAQ's , and seen some related posts, but I am still trying to make sure I know what I am doing.
I am liking the 37mm 15450's on trustytime.
Between the two options that I have been deciding upon, I noticed that the A3120 movement makes the thickness 9.8mm and the Mioyta makes it 10.4mm.
Is there a reason to prefer the A3120 or the Mioyta 9015 24J, from the standpoint of how the movement looks? or for any other reason?

I will recommend sticking to the ZF grey dial.

I have a DP dial installed in my APSF 15450. I've never seen a gen IRL but based on pics and videos the DP dial is brighter and its sunburst is stronger than gen's. Nevertheless, I stack to the DP dial because I found the APSF dial plastic and boring. I cannot comment the ZF dial.

It’s all about preference once it’s a rep build. No right or wrong and no better or worse IMHO. It’s about what you like and I agree that your 15450 looks good S!

@legend - Do you still take in work for repainting/modding dials on these APs? (If so, I inquired via PM) - Would like to send you a blue dial 15500 for some work if you still do.

2) Between the 15400 and 15500 which factory/dial do you think is "closest to gen"?
