I bought a 15703 diver about 10 years ago, it had the beautiful radial pattern design on the dial that would play with light. I notice the newer models on offer with TDs don’t seem to have this pattern for the 15703/ 15710 or even 15720. I want to buy a new diver as the 15720 ZF I bought is not inspiring me at all. Could someone suggest my best option in terms of reference and factory?

Question for @legend and anyone else open to answer:

if you had the option:
ZF v3 15500
APSF v2
or combination or any mod, give me your best pick (excluding franken parts)

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if a ZF 15400 bezel and front screws can fit into APSF 15400?

Wow, thanks for the quick reply Legend! How deep of possible adjustments are we talking here?
Slight ones if both the bezel and screws are machined well. The issue with reps are that the machining tolerance can be quite erratic. But don’t mind my words, try it yourself and see for yourself. Take hope!

Hi everyone,

I have a noob V4 forged carbon diver and struggling to find a xs rubber strap for it..

Are there any xs rubber strap currently available from any factory/maker that will fit?

Thanks!

JF used to make XS straps but now they're gone and XS straps are impossible to find. Your best bet is to post a WTB, i remeber seeing a few XS straps go there.

Or, alternatively, buy a hole punch and punch an extra hole in your strap of choice.

I know your pain because I'm a small wristed Offshore enjoyer too. Finding an XS strap has been a bitch.

I think I’ve a brand new set from ZF. Im not sure if they would fit or fit well and I don’t wish to speculate.
I am selling to sell them if you want to risk trying the fitment.

Thank you and appreciate the suggestion. i do agree that looking for a XS strap is a pain and based on my searches, the history of this particular noob model, the links or plots of it does not fit even back when there are JF XS straps available.

I did thought of exploring the hold punching method, but the issue is that the strap is tapered. So if i would to add an extra hole, the width of the strap will prevent the buckle to go further in.

Thank you and I will be glad to try it.

Do i pm you for further details? If it ends up not fitting, will it be better to get the links/plots modded?

There’s an XS strap from ZF for the divers. Should fit or at least be able to be made to fit on a JF too.

I have this set of brand new XS diver straps from ZF in hand.

They should fit if I recall correctly, as I used a set of gen XS straps for a Noob FC diver once, and ZF straps are gen spec in terms of fitment.
Should the straps not fit well, the plots can indeed be modded to take the straps.
Remember (and I say this because a lot of guys got it wrong), there IS supposed to be a small gap between the case and strap edges when installed. Technically case and strap edges do not touch unless the straps are bent inward.
Yes you can PM me if you want the straps. Thanks.

Is it just me, or is the bezel on APSF 15400 just seems a bit too thin? Thus that's why I'm planning to swap it with ZF bezel + screws

Here is my APSF 15400 right next to my ZF 15500,

Side by side the ZF just seems to have thicker bezel

You’re comparing two different models. In the gen the bezels of the 15400 and 15500 are not interchangeable.
That's a great point! Sadly I don't have a gen 15400 or ZF 15400 bezel to compare to, but here's a pic of gen 15400. The bezel does seem noticeably thicker, no?
