The problem might be the stem hight. You should check this first. All other problems can be solved with movement clamps or working a little on the case.

FWIW: I was considering doing this for my vintage DJ build (using gen dial) but I decided against it because I understand that the clone 3135s are something of a gamble with regard to quality, longevity and price, and as it is possible to use a NH with a DWO I chose this for peace of mind:

It’s the hour wheel. It goes on the dial side, over the cannon pinion (hands posts). There might also be a spring included that sits on top of the hour wheel.

Yeah, it just fits right over the cannon pinion and you don’t have to remove anything. Just make sure it interlocks with the other gears.

Make sure u don’t lose that stem like I did. Some 2824 clones somehow use different stems. I had to buy a couple from different sources to get it working

Not sure if one is already going but all other rolexes get an appreciation thread expect the 1016. It’s such a classy watch.. here is one I just purchased. Love all versions of this watch.. I have another waiting to be built. What I love about the tropic dial is the color changing depending on the light.. post your 1016! I want to see them!

The build is note finished as i want to stick some dial feet and wait for thé tool to do it thé right way.

Thé dial is thé New raffle one, i thought that thé overall proportion are better than thé older design but not perfect for sure, thé coating seem more fragile and could applied better,

Thé case is from raffle too, i have to disassemble, i will take some pictures, i used a 0.5mm plastic shim arround the movement, but thé clamp systèm IS not well attached, i think to cut some material in thé case to have thé correct clamp sitting, thé dial is only sticked for thé moment, not a Big fan as this New dial design IS smaller than thé old one

At first, i was thinking that the movement was too thick to fit the case, i had some trouble with the case back thread and it didn't screwed to close the case correctly, i ve finally found that my little plastic ring was the problem, now it close and the automatic rotor turn freely...

and no trouble with the Raffles dial other than needing dial dots?

The dial is stick using dial dot but it's not ideal as the dial is 28.5mm and the case somewhere arraound 29.1mm so the dial is not center in the case, its the movement that center everything and with the dial dot, its a little bit elastic when you put everything inside...
I ve bought a diat fit milling tool toreplace the dial feet in the correct position and to have a solid dial movement assembly

Looks great, really like the hands, the hour especially i think it’s the pointed section at the tip the ratio of lume to metal looks really good, (often with rep ones the lumed area is too small)
