What Mark is this supposed to be? Does not appear to be a MK5 dial? Not an MK 4 either (elongated coronet).
Does it have a serial number?
That is the Yuki Dial and to me it most closely resembles the last series of 1016 mk5 dial ish . late 80s
no rep dial is perfect

Thanks! Yes indeed, the PLO is not close enough together and the E's in Explorer should have the mid bar (-) higher to the top bar.
Lovely watch none the less.

Sorry to keep everyone waiting but the Version 2 RWI Rolex Explorer 1016 dials are ready, with a special feature as teased above! One side is a 1016, the other is a 5513! First dual sided dials that I know of! Improvements and side by side comparisons are available in the M2M section. Please let me know your requests for a Version 3! Build example using Raffles 1016 case set:

I've throughly enjoyed looking at the watches in this thread and there are so many that I want to do next. Here is my first, but not the last.

I'm sorry if you have already posted the specifics, but where is that dial from? The printing looks exceptionally clean.

Raffles dial. Build was done by someone other than myself. I'm still building up my assembly skills.

Saw this on a blog I follow, we may have a new contender in the vintage watch genre. SN factory looks to be comparable to JK factory, with some different offerings and possibly better movements (alleged to be SW200 movements).

Not sure what their entire line up is, and wasn't even sure where to post this, but I figure all things vintage wind up here eventually, so this is it, hot off the press.

Hi everyone,

New to the rep build market here - working on a 6610 build, mostly raffles parts.

Just wondering if the raffles vintage 36mm explorer case crystal mod (replacing glass w/ T21 Sternkreuz XS 306.449) is a simple pop in?

I swear there is a plastic gasket in my case and just need to know if I squeeze the SK T21 right in (or remove the gasket).

Sorry for the n00b question :geek:

@1016 lover - your bezels are perfection!

SK T21 fits right in, and the bezel from 1016lover tightens it. You might need to use the crystal press several times and rotate the watch 90degrees each time to ensure flush fit

Thanks for the info - I have an SK T21 coming but currently only the raffle bezel that came with the 36mm vintage explorer (sapphire glass) case.

Will post photos when it's done - have spent time reshaping the case as per the great tips on this thread.

The sapphire is why you had the gasket
You don’t need it with the SK.

Ah right - so I remove the gasket before pressing the T21? Sorry again for the noob question
The sapphire sits on top of the rehaut, and inside. The gasket provides the fit and theoretically the waterproof (hint, it does not on reps)

The SK will sit around the rehaut and outside. the bezel will compress it against the rehaut sidewall.
