Just fitted one to a 3714 and it is really good, I don't have gen 3714 crystal to compare but see the comparison to the gen spitfire crystal. In lamp light the tint is almost identical.
Need to get the next run started!!!!!!!!

Better late than never as they say, I finally got round to fitting my genuine Carrera crystal with Ate's double AR. Here's my photos. Whilst I was at it I fit my genuine tube, and tried the genuine bezel insert, but more on that in the Tag Heuer section..

Yes, I'm really happy with the colour, I do agree with S3 though, blue would be better, but purple is fine. Maybe see what the lab says about a blue hue on the next batch?

This is exactly the same coating as last time, they had the specs and I did not change anything. The difference now is that there is a lot of different crystals in one round. Until now I have had only similar crystals (=same material) in one round.

I have not spoken with the coater yet but I will this week. Need to ask is there anything to do with the parameters. My SOH and 3777 crystals have definitely more bluish than purplist tint.
