Hi sharrkey
Many thanks to post these pics.
I thought the current lever of gen PAM 111 was like that, but now is clear.
I see that the magnificent comparison thread of Angus (one of the best ever seen) is starting to be old.
OMG !! In less than one year !!
Concerning Google I had already realized that... It is incredible !!  ... LOL

Well.....If you look at this picture of the 111 from Panerai's 2012 catalogue, you can't see the axle/shaft. Maybe it's just obscured......or it's been removed for the 2012 line.
I guess its just the angle of the pic taken and lighting
this is my 111n, in the first pic the roller ball is definately noticeable, but in the 2nd and 3rd which are practically head on shots its not noticeable.
Yes! You are right.
Thanks for the pics.
Nice strap joe

It looks like the "wheel" is slightly out of alignment, mine has this problem too. Too bad because everything else is perfect. More owners with this problem?
thanks, have a look here. Amazing quality straps that i swear bye. Great people to deal with too.

yes your right, the crown is slightly tilted but that is caused by too much pressure from the crown guard lever. Im sure This can be corrected by simply filing down the edge a fraction of a mm

Yeah thought about it but i think that the roller needs to be round to function properly, and that i probable ruin it with filing. What also works is turning the wheel a bit with the lever closes after winding it. For some reason it becomes less tilted in a way nobody would ever spot it on your wrist.

This movement is really nice and the caseback and engraving almost perfect.
It seems a lightly touched up pic, isn't it??
We really need urgently a good Swan Neck and SN screw and Incabloc .... LOL

next issue for the Noob 111 is the crown. The edges are to thick. The H factory crown is "gen like", bcause the OEM crown edges are really thiny
