Well, I ordered 4 of these at the RWI promotion price for a few of the crew members onboard. 3 black and 1 blue. (As some of you may well know, I own and am partial to the BK WM9 v2 and v3's, which imho, are about as good as they come.)
I placed my order, received a tracking number within 2 days and the order arrived 2 watches short. I immediately contacted Jamie and got an immediate reply that they had been shipped in 2 seperate orders. Sure enough, 2nd tracking number was sent immediately and the other 2 arrived 3 days later. SOME OF THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER SEEN!!
As for the watches...IMO..it would be hard to beat the quality for the price!!
The CG's look good, the bracelet/clasp look good,( hate to admit that the SEL fit to the case is better than my v2 fit.) I got curious and pulled a bracelet. The numbers were between the lugs and they were the CORRECT numbers. And inside the end of the SEL the numbers were there too. They read AD 72200 instead of AD 93250 as they should, but the fact that they were even there on a VERY LOW priced Sub impressed me. I fully wound them and all 4 of them kept time with +/- 1 second per 24 hours with the v2 and the gen Tag 6000 (quartz). THAT was impressive as well. QS date clicks right at 11:56...nice. And I was so impressed with the Blue dial (that one was 68.00) that I'm considering going for a Blue/2836.Most Blue dial/bezel Subs I've seen are a bright looking Sky Blue. This one is not. It's a much deeper color and has a BEAUTIFUL colored dial!! If you're just looking for a quality "beater" that will most likely fool 70% of the bystanders, you will be very pleased with this watch. IMHO, you will be even more pleased going with the 2836 version for a bit more dough.True, the 21j Asain is a very good, reliable mvt but the 2836 is much smoother and WELL WORTH IT.
