Today I got my first "nonscam" Rolex watch!

Look and feel ist fine, but now I want to set the time. I tried to pull out the crown, but it sticks just an I cannot move it.

I don't want to destroy the crown by being too violent. Question: is there a trick to pull the crown out for setting the time, should I be careful??

Now this may be a stupid question but you did unscrew it, yes?
When you have it is in the winding position, one more click is date set and one more is time set.

To set the time and date:

1/ Wind the time around until the date changes, you now have 12 midnight.

2/ Keep winding the time until you get to about half past six, now set the date
correctly. This is to enshure the date change gears are not in use as setting the
date while it is changing is bad and can strip gears.

3/ Now set the correct time, don't forget to go past noon if it's PM when you set it.

4/ never wind the time backwards more than 10 minutes or so and NEVER past midnight.

Easy huh? Now all you need to do is enjoy your new watch.
