I Got a ZF recently - chamfer is ok. But crown and distance from case is also bad.
I have been looking for a more "fat" crown even a steel one ( could live with having it plated)

I used to own a KW v2, it was almost perfect, I regret selling it.

I'm going to do my best to reshape my CG and order a ZF crown. That should get me set straight. But aside from that, I'm really not happy with KW watches recently. They have been doing some bait and switch with movements (recently PAM127 movements) I have found tape and glue unnecessarily being used in builds. Really not good.
Did you order from Toro in hopes of getting a fat crowned watch like in my QC pics ?
The time in between QC pics leads me to believe that the TD's only order one watch at a time from the supplier and then return it if rejected by buyer ...this doesn't make sense.
They should get a few at a time and send pics from a few examples then return what isn't accepted OR keep them on hand for future buyers..then again I don't know all the ins and outs of the business.
Unless my QC pics were from a new batch, it would appear to me that we are indeed scraping the bottom of the barrel for the KW's coming from the factory .. possibly getting all the watches that were rejected previously.
Still no sign of my watch .. from tracking ...it's left the country since last Saturday 23 April ...means it's still in customs being "processed"
ZF crown is the same - wery far from the case or it will not pass pressure test...

Did you chamfer the CG or it came that way?
Came that way. Got it M2M a month ago and he said it was supposed to be the latest version. He got it about a month before that so like two months ago.
Aw you guys are driving me nuts ... I'm still waiting for my Bronzo to arrive.

I finally got my watch today ...much to my delight. It took an eternity to get from BC to the east where I live. Canada post's problems and not the TD's.
The crown does indeed look to be the older fat version and sits fairly close to the body although I can't judge it with more than a newbie's experience.
The strap is pathetic ...really really cheap looking and the paint will be flaking off as we speak. I have a nicer OEM strap from another "cheap" Bronzo that is rose gold and was sold to me on
Aliexpress by a seller using pictures of a real bronze version. Buyer beware . I did contest the sale and manged to get a $25 discount/refund.
I will take a few pics after the watch finishes it's egg-facial ..nothing drastic just enough to even the color out a bit.
I think I did good.
