Hey guys, what do you think of this latest QC pics for PAM 382 from KW? Good to go?

Different lever color ??

The lever doesn't look too bad on this one compared to the one above or my qc pics.

This one actually looks similar to the case and looks like real bronze.. and after some patina, I can see it might blend well enough.

I'm no metallurgy expert but my qc pics and the other watch above look like the lever is brass or something.

Is the CG or lever easily replaced if it doesn't eventually blend well?

Bronze does photograph differently depending on the color temperature of the ambient light and camera settings. You really won't know until it's on your wrist. Bronze is supposed to be more red than brass, which is more yellow because of the lower mix of copper. You guys are driving yourselves nuts over what is really a great watch for the money. I can't think of a better looking bronze watch under $500.

Sorry, I'm pretty good with the color wheel but I'm clueless about watch repairs/mods..for now

Looking closely at it, it appears to be two small screws. Seems like it would be possible to have a new cg/lever sent if the received one isn't acceptable.

I think you are absolutely correct in terms of ambient light/ camera settings. But how do you explain on the same photo case and cg look exactly the same at evey angle while the lever looks totally different?
Teach me how to set my camera to do that...

The lever could just be developing patina at a different rate... Oil for your fingers can effect patina... The only way to really tell is to clean the whole crown Guard and lever to see if they match.

I think this is a better theory than the camera setting in terms of explaining possible reasons why the lever appears different.
As you mentioned, I imagine the only way to be sure is to clean the cg and lever together to see if they match.
So I don't want to take the risk when all the other qc pics don't have this problem. First 2 rep watches I ordered has issues and want to avoid the 3rd one having problems. Though I'm realizing fast that I should just learn how to take it up the arss since these are not gen?

Lol... well, I would personally feel more bent over spending 30k on a watch. You do need to be able to accept a certain amount of flaws in this hobby.

The lighting will make it change color in pictures. this watch look great all but the Crown its very skinny and you will see the lever wont snap shut and push the crown tight against the case creating a seal. Plus the Bezel on the KW is no where close to the Gen, IMO. As for the Lever color, don't worry about it, everything will look fine color wise once you get it

This is getting out of hand. Accept the watch and you'll be thrilled with it when you get it. This is why most TD's strongly discourage re-posting QC pics.

Is it me, or the 15 number on the bezel abit misaligned

This seems to be very common with the bronzo reps but I think it would be far less apparent than enlarged pics. I accepted mine with a little misalignment of the 15. But then again, if all three are misaligned it may bother you.

Yeah I agree. I'm also guilty of this. I stepped back and looked at my Pam 127 on my wrist this morning and thought "wow it is amazing what bang for the buck these reps are!"

I agreed, but all the markers misaligned, therefore it is not acceptable mate.
