All ROLEX my friend :cheers:, i have owned a BP from sead and its bloody good, i had the 3135 clone movement, watch was great, id give sead a bell.

perfect Frodostar, you are the perfect man to nswer these questions:

BP insert is very different from gen?
color difference on insert (platinum on gen and on withe BP) is very visible?
and the depth ?

You would think so wouldnt you, alas i bought the bp to try out to see if i wanted the gen, im not great on rolex at all, heres a few bp pics, it felt the real deal,quality was A1!

Which insert is the closest to the gen, you think, frodostar? BP, Noob, or Trevor? Trevor is not, it's for sure. How about the others?

Guys your thinking way too much into it, these are reps, there will be flaws, you would never tell these from arms length, these are great out of the box reps, i can only comment on the bp as its the only one i have owned, yes i had BP before gen, well as i said it was from sead, it maybe a noob but again im no expert here, i can give you some gen pics of certain things if it will help you compare.

It says parts are interchangable with genuine. You know if anyone has sourced and installed a gen bezel assembly? That would be pretty cool. Expensive, but cool.

utent Blue_Rocket mounted gen insert on bk dssd, there is a topic for this ..

but this is not reasonable.. gen insert is more expensive!

i have not 1500$ to give for

The gen bezel and insert are not a direct swap or fit. You need to fab some things to make it fit. I am in the process now with pb dad. He has the bk dssd and did the full works to it plus the gen bezel and insert. Should be as close as gen like as it can without it being franken.

I never imagined it was so easy to find gen insert for DS
