The watch I posted is my old JF FC Diver (completely stock).....now sold.
i just bought a modded version with x2AR.
I literally buy and sell the same watches over and over again....hence why I have something like x50 sales feedback.....although have sold well over a hundred watches across the forums.

So that means that the chinese technically CAN produce perfect watches if they want ... but sometimes they just dont care about qc because there is no supervisor or company in behind that can refuse the watches or something like that.

But i think for some basic and "easy" to rep models we are expecting to less from them... how the hell can it be 2017 and still no "Noob Sub" level Daytona , Nautilus ,15400 etc ...

The fact that this production is underground also plays a big part. It's easier to quality control when the product is a legitimate project, but when you have a threat of being caught and that the product will still sell if it's 90% of the way to gen, watches are shipped that aren't quite there. PT's analysis of the rep industry V1 and V2 explains a lot of this.

With this thread being 42 pages long, i doubt there is a single watch which has not been mentioned haha, just adding my opinion, lots of people see the V7 as flawed because of the bezel color, dial and the SEL alignment, however when compared to a gen, i truly believe this can be overlooked since the watch just oozes quality.
Although I hear what y'all are saying, I'd disagree. The platinum paint color on the insert is an immediate tell, way too dark (sel and dial etc is a lot more difficult to notice) followed by the cyclops or even dw alignment.

I think what we are saying is that the V7 for the money is not worth going gen, some paint on a bezel is not worth 8000. To put in perspective what i am trying to say is: I would HAVE TO go gen on a speedmaster moon watch because of sub dial spacing, but some paint on a bezel (in my opinion) does not justify it a 116610 gen. My datewheel is spot on.
An Immediate tell, way too dark ??
I like to keep a little perspective;
Next to a Gen on a x 5 cropped photo , yes it is a little dark. In Ideal light next to a gen, also maybe a little dark. But Immediate tell in isolation, definitely not I think.
Don't forget there are probably not a thousand people on the planet who could look at the bezel and know it is a little bit darker than it should be.
Is the bezel color on the green V7s a tell even with the 3135 movement ones or just with the 2836s? I read somewhere that this is the case only with the 2836 and that the other movement ones come with a more correct bezel color.

Even though I'm a big fan of the BP FF Chrono I don't think any RG model will qualify for NWBIG.
I agree. I don't think any Gold plated watch qualifies as you would derive a very real benefit from buying the Gen. Not least of which would be the weight.
