I thought it was in one of PT's "Analysis of the Rep Industry" threads but alas, it wasn't. But it was the cartier santos 100, Richemont was making their cases in China and found out the factory was selling cases out the backdoor, which is why they were so perfect.

It does! I'm not even that big into Cartier but it looks so sharp I've considered it

I believe that this model is also on the list. The Panerai 288. I don't believe that they are made anymore by the factories. Nevertheless, a very good out of the box gen-like rep.
