I understand your point. Things is, I make a little shy of 5k. No high fixed costs. I am currently thinking about picking up a gen 15400 Blue. It certainly doesn't suit my salary but it's something one can save for. It would be stupid to waste so much money on a watch but for some reason it feels good. Just like my other hobby, niche perfumery, where my collection is also topping 10k.. Possible yes, smart no..Surely the bigger problem with APs is not the open case back or someone knowing enough about them to call you out, but the cost of the original is so high... Can you actually pull it off? If I saw any of the juniors at work wearing an AP or even any of the directors it would make me call BS straight up.

There is the new 9000 clone with correctly positioned balance wheel which looks very convincing too
I am talking about this http://www.ttw-138.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_58&products_id=16920That's probably the seagull you're talking about, if I'm not wrong. The same KW but with the seagull/23J instead of the 7750. They all have very well cloned rotor and other decoration. It was out of stock pretty much everywhere though. The only other fully ceramic version is the ZF which again is a 7750 and thus the wrong position for the balance wheel.
Sorry , i got mixed up. Thought you were talking about a 438 version.
Santos on GEN croc strap...
pretty darn close to GEN..

You're right, high end watches are something that virtually anyone can save for but let's face it...if you work in McDonalds and wear a gen RG AP..... "everyone" will basically think it's fake (not that I care what others think).

Hi. Anyone ordered from the UK? How long does it take to arrived and if there were any issues?
Did you put everyone in quotes because you meant almost no one? Most people walking into McDs wouldn't even no what AP is. They'd just be like...nice watch, looks cool.
This isn't really the thread for this. But yes I ordered from the UK many times. Had one delayed at customs for 6 months...Hi. Anyone ordered from the UK? How long does it take to arrived and if there were any issues?
Thanks again for your kind words.Splendid!
What strap is that, where di you get it? Thanks.
Who cares about what other people thinks about "your lifestyle"? I don't care what people think of me.
So true. I saw a older guy drive up in a Lamborghini to a bank.My point is that if your salary/lifestyle/age/job/car etc doesn't stack up, then people (who know watches) will probably assume your watch is fake (even tho it may be gen).
Similarly, if you drive a lambo, and wear a rep RM...:nobody is gonna question its authenticity.
Ps. I've seen more high end watches across EU main city McDonald than any other restaurant in the world.

No do you know why? My neighbour has tons of money and he is clothing like a homeless guy because you know why? Because he doesn't care he have made his money he doesn't need to proof anything anymore.I dare to doubt that. Maybe for you the things that matter are different, but pretty much everyone cares.
