Haven’t had any issues personally with mine, watch seems to be keeping time fairly well and power reserve is great.
The irony of unreliable clone movements is that even if gen parts are expensive and hard to source, there will be plenty of busted clone movements available from which spare parts can be scavenged. It’s the super reliable clone movements with expensive gen parts that are the ones to avoid. It is a lovely rep, no doubt about it. But I will stay away from it considering a clone of such complicated movement may end up as piece of junk after some days. Finding movement parts for repairing is almost impossible. Even if you can, just a small piece of gen PP gear could well cost you a few hundred dollars. If you just want some short term fun it is no harm of dumping that $700
Thanks, I’ll check back in few weeks and if no one else has issues I’ll go ahead with the orderHaven’t had any issues personally with mine, watch seems to be keeping time fairly well and power reserve is great.
Is there anyone in the UK that would touch this watch for service / repair? The irony of unreliable clone movements is that even if gen parts are expensive and hard to source, there will be plenty of busted clone movements available from which spare parts can be scavenged. This is a big concern! The watch can't live up to the hype if it's not really even automatic.Well, anyone with the watch can check if the watch is actually automatic? I noticed the watch still run out of power even when i wear it daily.
When i check the back, the smaller wheel near the micro-rotor, doesn’t make contact to other wheels. So it may function like a manual winding watch?
I’m keen to know other’s experience as well, could be just me as i notice the gear near the micro-rotor kinda wobbly. This is a big concern! The watch can't live up to the hype if it's not really even automatic.
I'd like to hear other members take on this, whether the power reserve holds out when wearing the watch.

Gen / clone PP 324 SC movement has a "wobby" gear near the rotor and it is normal. IDK if this is the case with c240.I’m keen to know other’s experience as well, could be just me as i notice the gear near the micro-rotor kinda wobbly.

Thats what I try to do. Accumulate stuff, do couple of projects, sell whats not needed for peanuts for members here to benefit. It’s a good point. And the next logical succession to this notion is:
- We should be better to sell ‘busted’ clone movements for parts here on rwi!
This really depends on what your goal with the particular piece is.The irony of unreliable clone movements is that even if gen parts are expensive and hard to source, there will be plenty of busted clone movements available from which spare parts can be scavenged. Unfortunately the autowinding function is somettimes very weak in clone movements. This is the case with A7751 in Longines reps.Mine winds when I wear it. But, very little. On my testing with daily wearing it more just stays at the same level of reserve for the full day.
On the fence to decide to go for this or 5711.
Reliable is a big concern for me too.
Off topic, should I choose 5711 from 3KF with a clone movement or 5711 from PPF with decorated movement?
No problems here. Timekeeping is a little slow but that's an adjustment. I plan to have mine serviced at some point which will sort it. Also, I wear mine in rotation so manually wind it daily so as to avoid having to reset all the functions which is a pain. Don't know how strong the autowinder is compared to gen though. All in all works great with no issues.Any word from the early buyers, how the movement is going? Been consistent with functionality?
