No problems here. Timekeeping is a little slow but that's an adjustment. I plan to have mine serviced at some point which will sort it. Also, I wear mine in rotation so manually wind it daily so as to avoid having to reset all the functions which is a pain. Don't know how strong the autowinder is compared to gen though. All in all works great with no issues.

Thanks, it's good to know. I hope they settle down with these different versions and bring out one solid watch!

There were different opinions about this version - for bracelet quality or dial color. Now i understand the reason.

I got two V1's. (One spongebob modded)

Each have different dial colors, metal tones for both case and bracelet (one warmer, yellowish other more white, shiny) different clasp engraving, very very very different bracelet quality.

So, guess there are many different variations for both v1 and v2's. It's all luck to get your hands on a most gen like one.

I'll post some pics later.

I guarrantee you, they arent.

They may be very similar, or even the same in some aspects, but they are not 100% consistently identical.

I dont think it is.

Im obviously not talking about microscopic detail, which is different in gen production as well. But I am talking about parts of the watch (i.e. Tachy, dial, hands, print, dw, xtal(s), rotor, bridges, engravings, colours, shades, screws, spacers, “input whatever you like here”) that are identical on gen watches and not on rep ones.
Dont take what I say to the T, rather try to see the perspective Im trying to paint here.

I think you will agree, that there is substantialy more variations and potential errors in rep production, than there is in gen production (even as we keep in mind the minute differences in gen versions)

You simply wont convince me, that your 2 rep watches are identical. Ive owned too many gens and reps of various pricepoints and brands over the years, to fall for that argument.

I know exactly what he means. But what I can't understand is the huge difference in quality and dial colour etc. for the same batch. It's almost like two different factories making the same model..maybe they are doing that and hence the huge difference perhaps.

Haha, from my side I'll finish our offtopic conversation with the following: every new piece of reps might have been and might be different from the previous ones even for naked eye. I really hope that every new piece of reps was, is and will be of better quality than the previous ones.

Right one is more blue, guess left is more gen like darker blue. (Right one has smaller crown - spongebob modded)

Also one more greyish metal (spongebob modded lighter blue dial v1), other warmer yellowish. (stock darker blue dial v1) can be seen from bracelet tone difference on rear photos. In real life, its much more noticable.
