Fo shizzle.

What @Picasso74 just posted is much better option. I would probably have it refinished either way, but thats just me and my OCD.
Thanks for your valuable inputs buddy. Interesting to hear that you would rather keep the stock dial than the SW. because of the markers, lume (and dots, which they will fix).

Refinished in what way, the case and bracelet? Case is too sharp on the edges, yes

Surely PPF will know that there are many negative judgments about the color of the moon phase disc, for several months now. I suppose that it shouldn't be difficult or expensive to produce discs with the correct color (type V1). It remains a mystery to me. Even if they have a large stock of these wrong records, it should be over at this point.

I was talking about the dial refinishing.
Basically strip it, reapply the colour and reprint the markers, dots and other text + round the edges of the indexes.
And maybe relume them, when they are off. Its a good opportunity to do so.
Couple of guys do it here, if Im not mistaken.

The case rebrushing is a given, if you want the gen feel. But thats not hard to get done, lots of ppl have tools for that (skill is another question).

Im not saying the stock is perfect, but if you compare the custom one in the other thread with whats been posted here as QC, I dont think theres any doubt that the stock ones better.

Pretty sure the opinions of us foreign folks don’t matter

The primary market according to the factories themselves are within China, and most Chinese citizens do not have access to the outside internet due to the great firewall

So whatever problems we have, it will never be seen by them. Even if the TDs relay the messages, we are just the minority customer base.

That sounds like a difficult job with the re-colouring and printing. I’m not sure if that has been tried by anyone on the forum. I know that whitegold-plating of markers, rounding them and re-lume has been done a lot here.

Buff makes the dial this way.

Just got a confirm from intime.
The factory said that they chose print because the encraving text is bigger than the gen???

lol.

I guess we dont get another patch with encraving anytime soon.

I’ve been out of the game for a little while so apologies in advance if this has been discussed or asked. Can a v1 dial be used on the v2 that has the fully cloned movement?
