New PPF 5712 with PP240 Super Clone.....

I've just heard from a WeChat dealer that PPF migh be redeveloping their 5712 v2 rep which might include the dial improvement, too. Fingers crossed but take it with a grain of salt.

I am almost certain they won’t. Last time many dealers said the same. But there weren’t any updates in the batch.
They say it to justify delays.
I believe the explanation Puretime gave about movement shortage, to be more accurate.

Haha, you may be right but I hope not. My dealer wrote that knowing I had no intention to order the watch. Anyway, time will tell. Long waiting time may depress potential buyers who may pass by a watch which could definitely be better.

Over the course of the decade i noticed that rolex to patek are getting damn hard to get...

I remember 10-12 years ago you can just buy a sub right away with a discount of course hahaha


I think its not all ppf in house made...

But what its somewhat reassuring that tds and producers are taking some time hopfuly to give it there best.... a lot of online non td would grab this n try to pass v1 5712 as v2 i would assume

is it just me or does the letters look printed instead of engraved?

Seems shallower than previous batches.

IMHO they are the same photos since the launch of this new rep. I don't see any difference. It is now in pre-order because short delivery times are not guaranteed.

Sorry to disappoint. They all have yellowish lume. Mine is 2nd batch. The one @Virpag has shown QC of is 3rd batch.

Owners have told the v2 dial is not (so) purple in real life as in some pics. However, human perception of colors can be subjective.

There’s nothing wrong with the bezel.
