I am Desperate to find a crystal that out diameter could fit my viet bezel assemble, 30.3mm, 116 usually have a 30.2mm diameter
Looks good
Work in progress.
- Raffles case
- Rics bezel assembly (including insert). I don't really like the insert though.
- Crystal from Ebay (posted 4 or 5 posts earlier in this thread).
- Rep crown from Taobao, which is ok for now. Waiting for a gen one.
Bezel works perfect and is a great fit. The crystal is indeed too loose (as mentioned earlier), and I still have to find a proper solution to make it fit properly to the case.
Any thoughts on the crown guards? I'm getting a bit OCD here. Are they too 'beefy' still?
Thanks for posting pics of Rics bezel, I was thinking about getting one but had not seen one installed, it looks good. BTW, the crown guards look good, maybe open the bottom opening a little with a diamond file so it’s less angled but not flat? Just my 2 cents. Great work so far!

If you want to mount a quality assembly bezel, forget about Ewatch parts and mount a Viet.Just wondering if anyone has used one of these on the raffles case and if it’s a good fit and worth while ewatchparts 1675 bezel assembly.
I'm decently satisfied with my bezel from Ric's (which fits a Raffles case). However, it's quite shiny (i.e. it's polished and looks brand new). Much more so than other alternatives.
Any tips on how to dull the bezel (not the insert, just the bezel ring)?
This is a learning experience for me, but I never really cared about cyclops magnification. I'm all about that classic bevel and making sure the cyclops is not too far right. More perfect, more better!
Sure, but you don't have to use the overlay wheel in the first photo but the ones like on the Raffles website with the 6 and 9 open. It has them both like your original one with the 3 flat top and the rounded oneThis is a learning experience for me, but I never really cared about cyclops magnification. But check out the font differences here. The date wheel would spin backwards... wouldn't work; however, there is a giant difference between a real 1675 datewheel and a Hz6460 datewheel based on a 3135.
I never noticed until I had them next to each other in reality. I was shocked. Wondering if any others may have overlooked this. Almost tempted to try a custom extra fat font overlay.
Not too big, but the fatness also depends on the year of the watch. If you look on the website www.gmtmaster1675.com, the fatness of numbers of the datewheel varies based on the various Marks.I'm talking about the size and fatness of the fonts. So some of the Raffles have a larger text?
The fade on that bezel is class
Milk or Rics. If you're talking about the bezel assembly.Where do you get a good bezel that fits
to replace the raffles?
